Reviews
With the wonderous chaos it invokes, Endacopia feels distinctly like early internet. Incredibly charming, great soundtrack, and provacative in all the correct ways. Absolutely worth your time
One of the best games I've ever played with every click and interaction completely leaving me either befuddled, scared, or amazed but no matter what I always felt engaged with this game. I can tell there was an INSANE amount of passion that went into this game and I think Andy killed it honestly. There are definitely some parts that scared me but there were also so many mysteries and wonders that kept me going, and for that I highly recommend this game and try your best to be curious to find everything or at least as much as ya can!

I can tell that the author put a lot of work and care into this game, the music was good, the visuals were good. But some game design choices were really frustrating and the endings were disappointing, especially the hardest one. The amount of work required for the last ending simply isn't worth it, I managed to solve only one secret puzzle without looking things up. Maybe I'm just bad at solving puzzles, who knows. Also, the final boss in the last ending was RIDICULOUSLY hard, took me about 10 tries and 3 ragequits. And I really don't like how the secret puzzles are much much much harder than the regular ones. It's like the game punishes you for digging deeper by making things almost unsolvable for you. Most of my complaints were about the C ending, the secret one, but one of A and B endings was also really frustrating because they are identical except for one decision, which means you have to solve all the same exact puzzles and defeat the same bosses twice. Especially annoying was the Misery Town puzzles because there is one pre last puzzle where you have to type a word you get from a character after like 3 three puzzles, but if you already completed the game you know the answer and should be able to skip repeating the same song and dance right? Wrong. The game doesn't allow you to write the correct answer until you get it from a character. Why? Why do I have to repeat everything I did in a previous run? If I could go back in time before I bought the game I would tell myself to watch someone else play it, that probably would have been more enjoyable than doing what I actually did.
I love this game, the story is amazing and the charaters are the highlight, i need to 100% the game
This game is a masterpiece in its storytelling, pacing, art direction, music, and writing. The surreal setting is complemented with wonderfully designed characters and very witty dialogue. The dev had a clear vision for the identity of their game and they stuck with it without compromising anything. Many of the puzzles are well designed and easy to follow, and the ones that had me stumped weren't too much of an issue once I consulted Tip. Tip is such a GOAT. Probably my favorite puzzles are the ones where you have to use your tools in an unconventional way or in regions you'd least expect them to work in. The combat was very challenging but rewarding with a system that feels inspired by Punch Out. I'm sure it's probably easier with a mouse, but I still managed to clap every boss on a controller. My only issue that isn't something petty is that two of the late game puzzles are impossible on Steamdeck without switching to the desktop mode first.
I knew the solution because I remember the Impossible Quiz doing something similar, but you can't un-fullscreen the game mid session while in the Steamdeck's Gaming Mode. I lost 35 minutes of progress and had to re-complete 4 puzzles because of this. I feel like a good band-aid fix would be to add a Super Saver inside the puzzle room.
This shouldn't be an issue for the vast majority of players, but it still effects players trying to get 100% on Steamdeck. I genuinely hope the dev makes more passion projects like these in the future.

TL;DR Good point 'n' click game that made me realize I'm kinda rusty with games that work like this within the genre. Really solid point 'n' click game. The horror elements were a really nice touch bringing back to horror stuff in those RPG Maker games years ago. Pretty much enjoyed it as much as I thought I would and did my best to not game jump like I usually do and just locked in on this and want this beaten atleast before my Vita comes in. Only negative experience I had was, as I progressed more, I was becoming a bit more frustrated with some puzzles. Whether I didnt even know it was a puzzle to be solved, things i thought were just side stuff for funsies, and moments where the solution left me confused and irritated as I couldn't peace together how I would figure out a specific puzzle by myself, even if I followed the pattern, but followed it incorrectly. It's a been a lonnnng time since I played an actual point 'n' click game like this where you reaaally have to check everything or you will be backtracking a lot. There were also times where I see clues given and I figure out what I suppose to do, but since it's been a while since I've played a point 'n' click like this, where you need a specific thing to do another thing, I was constantly trying to find and do certain things whilst not having the specific tool. Maybe even try to solve something but it's not time for me to solve it yet (like situations I would have in the Ace Attorney games). Anyways, good game, definitely recommend and you may be better than me and not need to look at a single walkthrough for those specific instances. (granted I only looked at something for one part and was able to progress normal again)
