The game is like 2 years old and they can't make it properly. What did you do in 2 years? I wonder if you could have made the game more realistic in 2 years.

Certainly bags of potential. Very similar to X-Com but more stealth orientated. Well, more similar to the original UFO Enemy Unknown. Still very basic. The overwatch function currently only points at 90 degree angles, so using moving and overwatch as a killing tactic is awkward. Your starting soldier can barely shoot straight either, even with good odds. When i did manage to pick up a better weapon it went into stealth mode whilst in overwatch, so i had to quit out. Also, you can't save mid game. I realised this after battling in a corn field for the best part of 2 hours. I think this will be great when it's complete but it's bad that they are charging people regardless of the pre-purchase warning.
**A solid merc tactics foundation that's still waiting on its finish line.** I put 38 hours into it and finished it, and honestly it has everything I'm looking for in the genre -- it just isn't fully baked yet. **Tactical Combat** - The mechanics are genuinely good. Satisfying, technical turn-based firefights with a realistic modern military feel that scratch the same itch as Jagged Alliance or an XCOM-like. I also enjoy the weapon diversity, and the attachments system is a nice touch though it's not as deep as I'd like. ◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◻ 9/10 **Merc Management** - Hiring, gearing up, and leveling your roster covers the loop I want out of this genre. Side contracts and exploring Brekovia keep the campaign from feeling linear. ◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◻◻◻ 7/10 **Merc Personality** - The one real miss. Mercs feel a bit lacking on personality, so you never get as attached to your squad as the game clearly wants you to. Not a dealbreaker, just a bit flat. ◼◼◼◼◻◻◻◻◻◻ 4/10 **Value** - 38 hours I enjoyed start to finish is fair value, and the game has gotten better with updates, even if they're slow to come. Still, it's Early Access and clearly not done, so there's no rush to jump in today. ◼◼◼◼◼◼◻◻◻◻ 6/10 **Overall** - A genuinely good tactical experience with the roster management to match, held back by an Early Access state and a personality-less squad. ◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◻◻◻ 7/10 End State already has the foundation of a great merc tactics game -- 38 hours flew by and I never got tired of the combat. Others agree the combat is the highlight, and even the game's biggest fans are waiting on version 1.0. With the game still in development, I'd keep it on the wishlist rather than pick it up today. If you're craving a modern military XCOM-like, this one's worth waiting for the finish line on.
Just wait a year or so to see if this gets finished.. A lot of potential but hardly any support from dev's while playing it and very poor communications (both Steam and Discord) about updates and timeline development. But the concept and the fights are very promising. Story should be worked on A LOT. Is terribly basic and non-informative.
살아 있나요?
Its a good xcom like concept just needs some more polish
I love this game. I'm looking forward to version 1.0.
