A fun little point and click slasher. Fun art style, clearly a labour of love. Exciting fast paced game-play, you think its going to be easy, but a few waves in and you have plenty on your plate. My favourite part of this game is the stunning soundtrack, it really helps keep the blood flowing and complements the battle perfectly. If you want a boost of fun when you don't have time for a larger game this is certainly one to choose. It comes in a small package, but this is a pretty cool and rewarding action game. Despite the lack of a story, the premise is quite epic. You are the last defender standing against a never-ending army of the dead. Your mission is to defend the stronghold whatever it takes, including your own life. The knight starts with a basic sword attack and a ranged attack with a crossbow. However, this is far from the only skill you have at your disposal. The twist is that you must earn the rest by completing challenges. If you succeed, you will receive an additional skill for this and all consecutive playthroughs. This is because it is impossible to defend the fortress on your first attempt. Your stamina and mana are your only limitations. Stamina can be restored by casting a spell on the ground. And with each defeated foe, mana is steadily replenished. This encourages offensive play because the more you kill, the more spells you can cast. Magic also works on your arrows and sprint, which may completely decimate the enemy army. The goal is to survive increasingly stronger waves and kill every attacker. Basic skeletons are the first enemy you encounter, followed by archers, enemy knights and many more. The animations are top-notch thanks to beautiful pixel art. The art might not be bombastic, but it does a fine job. Cool music also deserves a special mention.
Discovery Queue understood the assignment for a change. Calling this a hidden gem would be doing it a disservice, nonstop action and fun that makes you feel like you're good at videogames & smart twist on the Survivors theme more akin to Kill The Crows with precise deliberate inputs. It says it all when your only real complaint about a game is that there isn't more of it to enjoy, it took me a few tries and a little over an hour to beat this game & I can only say thank you, Adam, and I hope we get to enjoy more games from you in the future and/or an upgrade slash expansion of End of Knights.

Excellent game! The visuals are very satisfying and the soundtrack is absolutely awesome! The combat feels good and it's very smooth to play. The tutorial/guidance is well done and very clear, so you're not left guessing what you have to do. Love it! Shall keep going till I beat it! :D
This is a great little rogue-like hack and slash. Same world each run but it's a game of endurance. Each time you complete an objective it will give you a new skill. Try and last as long as you can. I've only managed to get to Wave 8 so far, but the gameplay is very addictive. Think of it as a 2D Hades but with skills that can carry over each attempt The art is very good. All the sprite work looks like it's been done with love and care. All of the animations are smooth and feel really nice when combined with the gameplay. Super impressive! Music is sick also! A perfect combination to the chaos on the screen. A great intro game by a solo dev.
It is really cool and is also beautiful. Also, it's neither too hard nor too easy. I'm really excited to see what the future will bring for the game. It's a good game to relax and just kill some monsters ^^

A solid little gem of a game. Has a decent challenge and feels rewarding. You can clearly tell that it is made with love and the music is banging. Definitely worth the price!
