Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
So the game is fun but I really hate the combat. If you try to ambush someone they run to you until the see you and then turnbased kicks in. So playing as a sniper doesn't work. No traps or cover either. Honestly In tried to like it but just couldn't.
No. It pushes transgender crap.

I GAVE UP ON THE GAME, FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE DEVELOPERS.
This is a really good, well-written edgy isometric RPG. One of the best-written and conceived I've ever played, in fact. The skill system is janky and companions are - unfortunately - literally not worth it at all. Not only are they relatively shallow with very limited dialogue (on par with the original Baldur's Gate rather than BG2 or BG3), their skill progression is hot poop on toast and inconsistently applied to skill checks. I ended up finishing the game with a solo build (built around having 10 INT and 5's in everything else, taking Renaissance Person then leveraging the Self-Improvement perk for +1 to your lowest perks... which is all of them) which practically maxed out all the available skills and dominated through practically all the content alone. At the endpoint, I breezed through the hardest combats in 1R and one-shot the toughest enemies because my build was ridiculously op. For some reason, the MOBIOS random encounter (the only source of an extremely limited crafting ingredient) never fired for me (because I was using vehicles?) so I had to cheat to do my endgame crafting and I cheated ENTHUSIASTICALLY because by that point I was getting bored to tears. The ending had some cool stuff but was a bit of a downer and a little weak. Happens with indie devs who get creatively exhausted when they're getting near release. This game is really good for one playthrough* and worth the price. I was really interested in doing a low-INT playthrough but got bored by that point. I look forward to seeing more, in the same universe or another. * I might do a dumb as a Bag of Hammers playthrough but... I just started it and the dialogue options are... not ideal. As way too silly instead of stupid to the point where it's not funny.
boring, clunky, easy, derivative, and slow the entire time I was playing this, I was thinking about wanting to play something similar but much better (like Fallout 1 and 2 or Underrail) could possibly recommend this to crpg neophytes as a gateway into the genre, but that's about it
I enjoyed "Encased" through and through. 136 hours into it, all locations fiddled with. Single playthrough. In most ways it is phenomenal. In some ways it is stuningly fresh. In some ways, being a rather not expensive production, I wish it was remade and improved. I will not spoil what are the brilliant parts and what could use a little work. Make up your own mind. I am however perfectly certain you need to give it a ride, if you are into CRPG. If you are new to this genre, try something classic first (BG3, DOS2) and come back to this game later. In this way you will apreciate it more. All in all, reccomended.
I really thought I would enjoy this one, but the game is ordered in a cryptic way that makes you feel lost (It directs you to an area with mobs you CANNOT KILL just after being done with the prologue...) I mean, what the ♥♥♥♥? Seems like a rookie mistake, but nevermind. It soured my opinion of the game from the get go and I couldn't bring myself to play it. Ended up uninstalling soon afterwards.
A great game...in the first half. Initially there are plenty of roleplay options, a great atmosphere, detailed maps to explore - this disappears in the second half once the full map opens up, suddenly the locations you can visit are huge with next to nothing to actually do in them, devoid of atmosphere etc. It seems as if the Devs gave up.
It's not even finished and they are already selling DLC.s to us
