I love tower defence but this is just AWESOME ! the fact that you build your own maze keep it fresh all the time. the different towers give a dfferent spin, and different characters add something on top of that. If you love tower defense game, this will keep you want to play more and more. 10/10

This is an awesome game. If you like tower defence games with roguelite elements, this is easily the best one I have played. And it is not even out of early access yet! Huge thumbs up from me, my playtime speaks for itself.

Solid and fun TD game. Nice presentation with a good balance of tower utilization and maze construction. The boss battles are particularily well done. Reasonable amount of content. Some of the bonus areas (shops, forge, etc) seem unnecessary and the RNG on those dice towers is laughably bad but otherwise a really well designed game. Highly recommended.

An utterly delicious tower-defense game (build your own maze wave by wave) I haven't seen a roguelite tower defense game before - not only is there a huge library of towers (so every run begins and ends with a different grouping - you can change the loadout between stages in a run), but you must also manage your blocks. I was bummed to see there are only four locations/maps until I realized that between the different paths through the maps, randomized elements of the towers/blocks (and their buffs/mods), and unlockable heroes/fires that demand alterations in gameplay. I've only been playing for 11 hours, but I imagine I'll be here for many hours/years
I'm not used to tower defense that much but I was eyeing Emberward. I tried the demo twice and couldn't completely get into it and I didn't know why. But I continued checking updates and I liked the dynamic from the devs and what I was reading. The game was still appealing to me so I decided to get it just before the 1.0, to see if I could really get into it and this time I did. Once I began to really work on placing tetrominos strategically to carve the path of the enemies and for example make long corridors with a tower or 2 in front that would spit lightning balls going through a big crowd it clicked and I finished a run. The boss was pretty epic and now I can slowly work on unlocking everything and soon trying the harder difficulties beyond normal. I can really tell there's a ton of love and work put into the title and it probably deserve its high praise.
ill keep it short. you like td? Do IT.
