Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 6 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Elsewhere is a sandbox crafting game that combines survival, exploration, quests, and magic with deep progression. Start with basic tools and gradually unlock new technology and/or magic systems as you explore the world and complete objectives. Build your base, try different playstyles, automate everything, and discover how far you can push your progression—from simple survival to hi-tech systems and powerful alchemy, with plenty of room for experimentation and long-term play.
The game is inspired by old-school Minecraft modpacks and features many new and unique features such as character creation, building templates, monster-filled castles, and many more.
Hi everyone! My name is Sergio, and Elsewhere is a game I’ve been developing since 2012. Since late 2018, I’ve been working on it nearly full-time. All code for the game is done by me, while the art assets are either done by me or by my more talented artist friends.

In Elsewhere, players can explore the world, fight monsters, and collect loot, or gather and process resources while gradually advancing from simple tools and medieval technology all the way to fusion power and particle accelerators.

The game also features magic, alchemy, ancient ruins and temples, and vast procedurally generated castles and dungeons filled with bosses to discover and conquer.

Players are guided by a quest system, though it doesn’t need to be followed linearly - or even at all. Building a fully automated Jaffa Factory, for example (or more precisely, a Chocolate Cookie Factory), can be a real challenge, with countless elements to consider and many resources to automate and process.

Elsewhere features a large, procedurally generated, and fully interactive world with dozens of unique biomes. Players can place and remove blocks, build castles and machines, gather and process resources, farm and cook food, explore ancient ruins and temples, fight monsters, avoid traps, collect loot, and much more. The game includes over 7,500 blocks, more than 6,000 recipes, and upwards of 300 quests.

The game includes pre-built bases and building templates, a wide variety of decorative blocks and items—including arcade machines with mini-games—along with character creation, pre-made skins, and many other unique elements.

Planned future features include NPC interactions, story elements, expanded modding support, and much more (see below).
Please note that while Elsewhere already includes most of its intended mechanics, it is still a work in progress. It’s also a very large game that takes time to fully explore and unravel.

The game features plenty of jokes and references, and there’s even a free-to-play modification called YogLabs: Testing Initiative, inspired by the YogLabs series. All Yogscast-related content is included with permission.

Elsewhere is built on a desire to recreate the joyful nostalgia and spirit of classic Minecraft modpacks. This game wouldn’t exist without the creativity of the hundreds of mods that inspired it - so I want to say a particular thanks to the modding community for their brilliance and dedication!

if you loved the tekkit mod pack for minecraft then this will be right up your alley!
Elsewhere is a one-of-a-kind first-person sandbox game about mining resources, crafting tools and weapons, surviving in the wilds, and building sprawling structures. There's absolutely no other game like it, no siree. Any similarities between Elsewhere and that other game made by a whiny dillweed who sold his life's work to the digital devil is purely coincidental. Nuff said.
A better version of Minecraft. No idiotic mobs like Creepers that instakill you or Skeletons with bows. The more Biomes it has next to each other make the game so much more interesting than Minecraft.

Minecraft killer!!
Take everything you love about vintage story and satisfactory and it's in the game.
I really like this game. A lot of blocks to choose from. Only problem is that on sandbox. all items and blocks are in one scrollable section like older versions of minecraft. Would be cool to see each item and block have a category
The best part of Minecraft was playing it for the first time and discovering all the weird little things in it, and this game has that same vibe and I really like that. For a passion project made by one person for years and years thats still being updated, id recommend this. Especially if you like old-school/modded minecraft.
Loving it, finally took the plunge on picking up a couple of licenses to play multiplayer with my daughter after playing the Yogscast pack. Have to say loving it so far, been going 7 hours straight at the point of writing this and not bored yet. This has loads of content from all kinds of mods you would see in Minecraft, but added right without needing 50gb of RAM to load it all up. Highly recommended, looking forward to the conveyers, etc in the future. It's also super stable.
I’m having such a blast figuring and tinkering with everything. Very addicting. If you enjoy building, a bit of grinding, and learning; I highly recommend! Excited to see what will be added in the future 🙂
