Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 18/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In a Universe where SC, X4, NMS exists there is only littel going for ED. It is not the worst space game out there but there are so many games that are doing way better what ED does with out being monetized and mileked -> X4, NMS. If you want to spent money go for SC (45 $) and if you want spent on top like in ED at least you get high quality ships and immersion.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

At first I adored this game, the freedom to travel around and to take part in whatever I wanted. Even went so far as to buy a HOTAS just for playing. But over time the shine wore off. The grinds became longer, like I was doing more for less. The most useful things in the game require a lot of grinding to get them in the first place, and in the case of the fleet carrier, even more grinding to keep it. It starts to feel less like a game you can have fun in and more like a second job to get to the fun parts. Most recently the game has been filled with bugs, I've came across several myself and it's just not fun anymore. Some of these bugs have caused me to have to get rid of my carrier and stopped progression in some aspects of the game completely.
This game is not for everyone. It is largely devoid of story, the action generally takes up less than 10% of game time, even if you're specifically aiming for combat. As for me, was born at least 200-500 years to early to make my living diving into the black, so having the option to live as a trader, a saboteur, a pirate, or just go hang out at bars across the galaxy is fantastic. It is surprisingly buggy (well, crashes about 0.7x per play session) for a game that's around a decade old, but it has such breadth that it's hard to complain. Again, not for everyone. If you're looking for action or simplicity, this isn't the one. Imagine if EVE put you in the cockpit directly, and lost some portion of its "Massively Multiplayer Excel" gameplay style. It may not do either game justice, but that's more or less Elite: Dangerous.
X4: Foundations или No Man's Sky в десятки раз лучше, современнее и, главное, интереснее.
Owned the game long before Frontier account was required, getting it to link with my steam account required 15 different activation emails to launch a game I have the CD-Key for and have owned for over 10 years. This is rockstar level of retardation
This game used to be one of my favorite games, then the devs kept nerfing payouts and focusing on aspects of the game that just weren't fun. This game had so much potential.
One of those games I wish I could give a mediocre rating. Flying around in your spaceship is really cool. Great sound design. But the game is literally a universe wide and an inch deep. Missions (at least in my 15 hours) consist of flying to this place, pick up something or kill something, then flying to another place and turn the mission in. That's the game. From what I can tell, the game is all grind to work towards goals that let you grind a little bit faster. There's no story, no feeling that I'm really doing anything to influence the universe. My biggest complaint is the UI is absolutely atrocious. Everything is behind multiple button clicks for zero reason. People say that you get used to it. It's hard to get used to having to do 8 button presses just to turn in a mission. And for a game with hundreds of keybind options, there is no search function. Absolutely mindboggling.
Ever since Odyssey released we've been taking so many steps back. Performance: Awful. Feels like it was made on UE5 minus the graphics, compared to legacy horizons where you get 200+ fps everywhere, Odyssey struggles to meet 60 fps in so many areas on high end hardware from the era it released and after. It feels like the developers are actively neglecting optimizations and are crutching on newer hardware brute-forcing the performance problems they refuse to address after 5+ years. Visuals: Downgraded. Sure, they added PBR, but at the cost of the removal of excellent lighting and visual design language that Legacy Horizons had. Starlight is no longer coloured and is a dull lifeless grey after travelling far enough away from a star, and the ones that do get coloured don't even match the colour of light the star emits. Anti Aliasing has been broken since Odyssey released, and Frontier has been vocal in their refusal to fix it. Textures still do not have parity to Legacy Horizons, and many suits, and ships are missing emissive effects, or feature effects that are not accurate to their pre-Odyssey versions, which is a problem since the images that they show in the in-game store are not accurate to the actual thing you're getting. Gameplay: Borderline unplayable. There are so many bugs that have been introduced in new updates that they are innumerable, bugs that wipe player progress, bugs that delete items from the players inventory, bugs that make key gameplay features unusable, bugs that break background simulation, bugs that make hud elements invisible, bugs that break shadows, etc. etc. ad nauseum. Every single time they add a new gameplay feature, or overhaul, something gets so broken to the point that we'll be lucky to even see a bandaid fix put out for it, which can take upwards to a year (shadow flickering), does Frontier even have testers for these updates? What is the point on these updates if they're just going to break everything else in the process, it just puts everything back to square one. All in all, as a long time player, I've been very disappointed with the path that Elite Dangerous has taken, and I hope one day that the game is able to free itself of these problems in the near future, it's very disheartening to see Elite Dangerous in the state it is in.
