Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 18/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good game but gas a lot of glitches which need to get fixed
So my original review was very negative. There were a lot of things from other space sims I had to unlearn. One big thing was how to pilot. Things like sharp turns can't really be done with the throttle hammered down. Someone gave me advice that helped. These ships don't pilot like a space ship in modern times. They pilot more like WWII planes. You have to back off into the blue on your gauge and then you will turn a lot faster. The starter ship, the Sidewinder, is a really basic ship. It is very much like the cheap beater car you get when you first get your license. It isn't winning any races but you can drive the wheels off and there is no big loss. There are a lot of little things to keep an eye on but if you like deep systems you will find yourself getting into things. You have to learn how to navigate menus and keep an eye on your gauges and what's in front of you. You can't just tell the ship to navigate to a location and walk away from your keyboard. Little things can throw the computer off like one location is on the underside of an asteroid belt and so the gravity well of the belt can mess with autopilot and you will overshoot your target. Which at FTL speeds can mean a lot of back tracking if you are AFK an miss it. Or worse you miss and your ship dutifully maintains speed till your fuel runs out. It is not a game for people who have played Starfield or No Man's Sky and found flight complex there. But only 30 or so hours in I feel like I will be putting a lot more hours in.
Recommended ✅ — 430+ hours and counting I've bounced off a lot of space games. Elite Dangerous is the one that stuck, and it's not close. The flight model is the best in 0G, full stop. No arcade assists pretending physics don't exist, no "space friction" nonsense. Newtonian movement, momentum you have to manage, Of course you can also use flight assist and still enjoy the game immensly. Nothing else on the market threads the needle between realistic and actually fun to fly the way FDev does here. Investment in HOTAS is really paying of here. What sells it for me is the restraint. This isn't a universe drowning in glowing crystals and magic tech. Frame Shift Drives, life support, power distributors — it all feels like engineering, not fantasy with a spaceship skin. That grounded approach makes every system failure, every scraped hull plate, every fuel scoop dive into a star actually mean something. And then there's the galaxy itself. This is, without exaggeration, the best rendition of our Milky Way in any game. 400 billion star systems, procedurally generated but built on real stellar data where it exists. Flying through actual nebulae, dropping out of supercruise next to a black hole and just... sitting there. No other game gives you that scale and makes it feel earned rather than empty. On development: after the rough patch post-2018 where updates slowed to a crawl, FDev is back and shipping again — new content cadence, engineering reworks, ongoing support. If you shelved this game or never picked it up because of the drought years, now is genuinely the best time to jump back in. The gameplay loop is enormous once you stop bouncing off the initial learning curve: Bounty hunting and combat zones for the adrenaline crowd Exploration — genuinely go dark for weeks scanning uncharted systems, first-discovery tags with your name on them Trading and hauling, from bulk commodities to black-market runs Mining, from laser-cutting asteroids to full-on core mining rigs Mercenary/faction work feeding into the Powerplay and BGS systems that shape the actual galaxy state Multicrew and squadron ops if you want the social side You can lose hundreds of hours just picking a different loop each session. What actually stays with you is how small the game makes you feel — and not in a bad way. Drop out of supercruise next to a neutron star. Cut-off your engines. Just float there for a minute. You are a few tons of metal and meat next to something that could erase you without noticing you existed. The galaxy map alone — 400 billion systems, most of which no human will ever visit — puts you into perspective in a way almost nothing else does. This isn't horror-isolation. It's the same feeling you get looking up at a clear night sky away from city lights, except the game lets you actually go there. That's the trick Elite Dangerous pulls off: it makes insignificance feel peaceful rather than bleak. You're not the chosen one. There's no prophecy. You're a commander with a ship and a ledger, and the universe doesn't care either way. Some players find that cold. I find it honest — kind of meditative after a long day. If you want a power fantasy with a thick plot, look elsewhere. If you want to feel at piece, basking at something vast — this is the one. Honest Cons: Onboarding is rough — expect to lean on wikis for your first 10 hours. Progression grind (engineering, ranks) pads playtime more than it adds depth. Open play feels empty outside CGs and war zones. Menus/UI are dated and unintuitive. On-foot (Odyssey) content is shallow compared to ship gameplay. None of it's a dealbreaker, but go in knowing this game doesn't hold your hand. 9/10. Commander, fly safe. o7
Game lag, but have fun
