I'm just playing for the story Its not a bad game I like it but just might get boring for some people
love it
honestly fun game and story is nice so far i think its a good game. if you dont wana pay full price maybe just wait for a sale. either way still a solid game
It has been one of the best SAO game experiences I have had, yes it could be better but this really sucks my time in and I can't wait to see what they build from this. Though devs please give more skill diversity like in the series so that experience can be even better.
I love the world and while it might be light in activity it is a promising baseline and cannot wait to see what is added on down the line
Boa ambientação, mas com inimidos repetitivos.
Finally a great SAO game with a proper budget and care that's not another Underworld story. This time, you create your own character, and take part in your own story in the Aincrad arc as one of the 10k players trapped in Kayaba's scheme. I preordered it as soon as it was announced back in March! I recommend it even with the flaws for any SAO fan like myself. I ignored the negativity and formed my own opinion, and I love it for what it is. 11 hours in, and I'm slowly but surely making it through the story. There are tons of side quests (recommended if you want to unlock some systems like costumes to have a "set" appearance showing instead of your equipment) but each of them allow you to unlock parts of the map. I have enjoyed getting every chest and every side quest, many of them being actual quests from the source material (Such as "Secret Medicine of the Forest" and "The Heifer Strikes Back"). While yes it only seems to be covering the first two floors, I'm on the first floor, and it is MASSIVE. Once you think you unlocked most of it, it reveals more of itself as unexplored. However, even with the size, traversal is pretty enjoyable if you wanna grind some mobs on the way to the next part of the quest. The story is largely the same, though it was mentioned by the devs that you will be the hero of YOUR OWN STORY unfolding alongside the main story, not of Aincrad. Though in a way, it seems your quest is important for the future of the game. Now for some Cons, which I'll list below. -CHaracter creation isn't as advanced as you would hope, but it is still decent. WARNING. YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR CHARACTER ONCE IT'S BEEN MADE. - You can only change your equipment in town. You can't change it on the fly. Hopefully Bandai Namco can change this. - You cannot "solo" your quests, and you cannot leave towns without going on a quest. This may frustrate some, but it's probably to reduce load on most hardware, since again, this is a MASSIVE game. -Your partners really like to announce things a LOT. Even when you are right in front of things like a chest about to open it. However, them letting you7 know enemies are nearby does help from sneak attacks. If Bandai Namco can have my partner not say "Oh look, a treasure chest" as I'm in the middle of the animation to open it literally a PIXEL away, that would be nice. I'm sure there is an option to turn this off though. -Heavy slashes usually one shot basic mobs, and it has this "bullet time" effect for a second on the screen. It may be annoying to some, but I like it personally. - Some have complained about the counters with your partner being annoying in terms of the animation. I remember seeing a Youtuber playing a test build turn it off though, so that is possible. - It only happened once to me, but bosses can get glitched and you will have to restart from a checkpoint. Thankfully the menu allows you to teleport there. Now even with all these flaws, I am still enjoying the game. As an SAO fan, this is the best game since Fatal Bullet, and my character actually can express himself (though we are still a silent protagonist). I think you should buy this game and take a chance on it, and ignore the negativity to experience it for yourself and again, form your own opinion.
First, I want to say that I'm really enjoying SAO: Echoes of Aincrad. The combat, exploration, and progression have been a lot of fun. One thing I would love to see in future free updates or DLC is the addition of the life skills that made Aincrad feel like a real, living world in the light novels and games. Not everyone in SAO was a front-line fighter—many players chose professions and built their own lives within the game. I'd love to see skills such as: 🍳 Cooking 🎣 Fishing 🏹 Hunting ⛺ Camping 🔨 Blacksmithing 🧪 Crafting/Alchemy 🧵 Tailoring 🌿 Gathering 🎼 Music 👂 Listening/Search Skills 🗺️ Tracking These systems could provide buffs, create new ways to earn Col, encourage exploration, and give players more reasons to revisit every floor of Aincrad. They would also make the game feel much closer to the world portrayed in the novels and anime. I hope the development team considers expanding the game with these features. They would add depth, replayability, and help make Aincrad feel like the immersive MMORPG that so many SAO fans have dreamed of experiencing.
Overall. Boring. Combat is ok but the enemys are always the same. The map is anoying going for and back all the time and staying on the path because everything else is a dead end. Mostly just runing around in this game. Compared to the anime a dissapointment. I tried to motivade me for the second floor, but quit far before it.
