We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
As other reviews have said, try to the demo and you'll know right off if this game is for you. Personally, 6 hours of my life disappeared into the demo and it was enough to convince me to buy it. It's not a perfect game by any means, but it's fun and gorgeous to run around the first 2 levels of Aincrad.
Biggest disappoinment I have ever experienced. I try to have an open mind about this game, but I just cant help but see its flaws. It is one the most undercooked games I have ever played in my life. So many features missing, exploration is god awful. This game feels so incomplete.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

its good boring at first then it gets better like every other rpg out their give it time.
Sadly, I can't recommend the title as of now. While the baseline is there, I believe it needs way more polishing, balancing and rethinking some parts of the game. The combat feels kind of wonky, reminds me little bit of fighting laggers in Dark Souls pvp where animations won't play correclty, are hard to read and hit boxes do not act very precise. I played the game a while on hard - from the end of the tutorial through the the arrival in the town on the 2nd floor but I think for now I'm gonna stick with normal again. It's just nerv-wrecking the way the enemy behaviour works right now. No problem with hard hitting attack or ambushes - but please, let me at least read them, do not shower me with random enemy spawns in a room i cleared - that's just bs. The story probably won't change for much but I still have to say: I just hate it when everyone treats you as some kind of noob whoe barely knows how to use the attack button. Sorry, I pulled the weight of the team during my journey so far - so show some respect or get lost. I still hope that in future games responses can be a bit more dynamic, based on actual player performance. Also, there is a certain story quest that tells you to get a good beginner weapon. Thing is, I had a way better one by this time already, maxed out as far as it could be at that point. That just felt like total nonsense. What I appreciate is somehow the UE 5 performance. So far stable and high framerates, no stuttering and no crashes. Although I'd like to see things like FSR, XeSS and DLSS integrated - the anti-aliasing is just way better than pure TAA. But at the end, it is what it is: for a 70€ price tag, you have to do way more work. This felt way too rushed. I think if the commitment is there and Bandai allows it, it can till become some sort of late bloomer.
Echoes of Aincrad is a game that ultimately succeeds in convincing, proving to be a solid and enjoyable experience without trying to reinvent the wheel. One of its most successful elements is undoubtedly the story: the narrative plot is well-structured, offers interesting hooks, and manages to keep you engaged enough to push forward and see how the events unfold. The combat system holds up very well as well, feeling smooth, responsive, and fun. Adding genuine depth to the gameplay is a strong degree of character customization: Weapons and Armor: The variety of equipment is diverse, allowing you to tweak both your appearance and stats, providing a good sense of progression. Combat Styles: There is a decent amount of freedom in defining your approach to battle, enabling you to tailor skills to your preferred tactical style. The main drawback lies in its repetitiveness, which becomes noticeable over time. The enemy roster suffers from a lack of variety in both models and attack patterns, while side quests tend to repeat very similar structures, limiting the freshness of optional activities. Overall, however, its strengths comfortably outweigh its flaws. Echoes of Aincrad doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it stands as a thoroughly solid title, definitely recommended if you're looking for a well-crafted and engaging game.
If you are a fan of the show, this game feels like a love letter to you. I only wish it was multiplayer, and that the main character had more voice lines. 7/10
TLDR: Just wait for sale if you're still interested. You won't miss any Innovation. Currently, this game is wasted potential. It's incomplete. The good: It has good story; it's good to pickup for those whom are new to this Franchise. It doesn't have dating simulator. The bad: What this game lack is battle system. It has no depth and AI is stupid at best(they do nothing 70% of the time). You cannot customize AI partner skill or equipment except for weapon slot. Each AI only equip one type of weapon also so very limited choice. Personally, I feel this game is missing half of its end game arsenal. In general, Boss fight isn't that difficult you can overcome it after several tries. The difficult part is same Boss can spawn in open world smaller Arena. In this smaller Arena, Boss can also spawn Elites which also can spawn smaller minions. On top of that, Boss and Elites can have very large AoE attack and mobs can have attack skill that dash across screen and knock you down or hit you in a blink. As you progress further into endgame, you would encounter more of this type scenario. You can overcome it with specific setup. But that would remove the diversity of build(s). Well, this game doesn't have much choices any way.
