Really enjoyed this one. Very good.
Excellent!
Probably one of the most innovative games I have played in a long time, great vintage graphic style feel. Great story, the combat style is so fun. My daughter and I played it through together, we loved the story, it was silly and heartfelt, definitely family friendly, we loved the sci-fi stuff, hope to see more of this.

This game was a blast good music and combat just a little bit short though.
So, before I begin, I'd like to say that I've played both the first and the second games and I'd recommend BOTH to anyone who might be considered purchasing either one! Now, onto my review of the game. First of all, the game is incredible! I love how diverse the world is and how people from different walks of life are intertwined across different perspectives to fight against a threat unlike any other. The game looks beautiful, the dialogue is fun and sassy, the characters are likable, and the gameplay feels almost as good as the first game. My only real grievance with the game itself is that it doesn't have the same feel as the first game, in my honest opinion. The first game felt like a complete story with a perfectly digestible theme of nostalgia which made it feel much longer and more expansive. This second game does an excellent job at combining stories across a narrative, but the stories themselves feel extremely short and hollow, so when the characters finally fight together to stop the big bad, it doesn't give that feeling of unity that a story like this should have in the final fight. I do consider this game a prequel to the first one, though, so I can give it a pass on that. Still a very good game, but I wished everything was more fleshed out.
I'm glad that devs kept turn-based combat system because I really didnt like action combat in previous game "Ravenlok" where you just button smash and that's basically it. Here you can actually change your deck to your preferred game style even tho it's not that deep but it's enough for a 10-13 hours game. Combat is not hard but not super easy, some places and enemies 'requires' to be not 1st lvl but you can beat them if your lucky. Final game battle was quite challenging and took me 3-4 attempts but there were some things that were not cool and I would like them to change. Game looks gorgeous just like any other game from Cococucumber but I would like to have more graphic settings in the game. Right now it's only screen resolution, vsync and full screen and that's it. I want to be able to change post-prosses settings because of them game looks blurry/ not as sharp as i want to. The atmosphere of the second game is completely different and that's sad. It's more like a space adventure instead of mystery solving in first Echo Generation. I miss scary vibes of
the school with the monster, creepy teacher, quite barn with a clown enemy
from EG 1. Music is still good and fitting tho. What I didnt like: - I would like to lvlup each stat from every character like in EG 1, but I like that devs added skill tree. that's cool - I want to be able to replay chapters because I wanted to get some achievements that I skipped - after a while battles feel a little bit slow, maybe add option to speed up enemy turn by 1.1x, 1.2x time and so on - sometimes after getting key item you got teleported to key place for progressing the chapter but sometimes you have to run back by yourself. It's like 1-1.5 min runs but still annoying from time to time - when playing on steam deck some locations locked for 60 fps even with vsync on. There's no max fps setting. Also when playing on steam deck there's no "Exit game" button in main menu for some reason. I guess it's just a bug Game final In the ending I was a little bit disappointed because
I thought the game would end on how main character landed on Earth where his kids find his skeleton in the space suit but we got scene of hot mc met the wife and that's it.

⭐ Minha nota pessoal: 9 / 10
Very much Live-A-Live vibes with this one in terms of the multiple plots aligning as you go on, granted a bit more sparse in explaining what's going on. That said, still enjoyed playing through it to see the sights and hear the sounds.
