About
Easy Red II is a tactical, realistic, historically authentic World War II shooter focused on large-scale, immersive battles that put you right on the front lines of the chaos.
Command your squad, coordinate combined-arms assaults, and fight across sprawling battlefields modeled after real historical locations of war. Playable completely solo against AI, or take the fight to other players.
Fight all across the globe. In the base game, Easy Red II features 6 extensive campaigns:
Anzio, Italy: a brutal bloody stalemate between Axis and Allied forces lasting for months in the central Italian plains in 1944.
Monte Cassino, Italy: a rugged mountainous campaign where Allied forces waged many attacks on the Gustav Line.
Tunisia: the final stand of German forces in North Africa in 1943.
Operation Flintlock: taking place on the Marshall Islands of Kwajalein and Roi-Namur: a joint operation by U.S. Army Pacific and Marine forces respectively to take captured Japanese Empire-held islands in early 1944.
The Battle of Makin: a battle coinciding with the iconic battle of Tarawa in which U.S. Army Pacific forces invaded the Makin Atoll, furthering their Island-hopping efforts in late 1943.
The Invasion of Kos: the Greek island occupied by Italians and invaded by German forces in 1943.
Across all of these campaigns, there are over 100 unique missions.
Easy Red II also features affordable DLC expansion packs, ranging from the Eastern Front in Stalingrad, the Western Front in Normandy and even across to the war-torn streets of Shanghai, China. These DLC campaigns add time-accurate vehicles, factions, and weapons—as well as over 80 additional missions combined.
Easy Red II is forever evolving. Whether it be AI overhauls, animation updates, free vehicle, weapon, or uniform additions, the game is sure to be constantly improving as time goes on.
In Easy Red II, we put you right in the shoes of the average soldier on the battlefield, fighting in recreated historical locations from the Second World War with historically authentic troop movements and orders of battle.
You aren't a special super soldier—you must traverse your way through roars of gunfire and shell-shocking explosions as you progress through the battlefield. Your survival is not guaranteed.
No man is sent in alone. In Easy Red II, you can control squads of soldiers with various roles: Squad Leader, Radioman, Medic, Support Gunner, and more—all with unique abilities allowing you to change the tide of any battle.
Operate iconic tanks from World War II, featuring detailed armor penetration, ballistics, and crew mechanics. If you lose a crew member, you may lose a function of your vehicle as well.
Some iconic vehicles range from the M4 Sherman, Willys Jeep, Churchill, Panther and Tiger tanks on the ground to aerial vehicles such as the Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk, P-38 Lightning, F4F Wildcat and Bf 109 in the air, with many more.
The battlefield is not static. Forests are leveled, defenses torn apart, and buildings are reduced to rubble over the course of a battle.

Купите men of war 2 и скачайте модов, будет интереснее и глазу приятнее. А это шлак, графика хуже чем у игр 2006 года. Очередной verdun.
Disappointing experience. I like games that mix a single player perspective with a wider tactical or strategic element. I also prefer games that focus on a satisfying core gameplay loop over graphics, "realism", etc. And of course, I want my games to give me as many options as possible to engage with it the way I want. Unfortunately, the game fell flat for me. I have basically two major gripes. The first is that the game both looks and plays pretty subpar. It's the kind of thing that's hard to put your finger on, but the game just feels clunky and janky. CoD 2 came out 20+ years ago and the movement and gunplay feels ten time as satisfying as this. It has all these different mechanics, which is admirable, but none of them are unique or polished, so they all just end up feeling very forgettable. In particular, the AI feels very simplistic and dated. The battlefield doesn't feel organic or alive. Again, compare this to CoD 2, which had allied and enemy AI which was way more immersive than this - taking cover realistically, calling out the specific locations of enemies, maintaining spacing and moving organically instead of just running in straight lines everywhere. And while it doesn't look terrible, it doesn't really look good either. The assets and environments feel very generic and flat. This wouldn't even really be an issue for me if the gameplay was good, but it isn't, so the weak graphics and the "baby's first Unity UI" quality just make the game feel even more cheap. The biggest issue, however, is found in the options menu. For a game of this scope, there is a stunning lack of options and customizability. When I played the flying tutorial for the first time, my immediate feeling was that the handling was hot garbage. The mechanics of the handling themselves are pretty weirdly bad - why does the plane turn in spurts, and not smoothly, when you try to yaw? - but part of the reason I was having trouble is because the default control scheme has you controlling the pitch and roll with the mouse and the yaw with A and D, and the flight controls are inverted. Personally I prefer to control pitch and yaw with the mouse and leave rolling to A+D, without pitch inverted, because that's how you control your aim in first person shooters which is what I'm used to, so there isn't a steep learning curve. Well, no problem - plenty of games use this as the default control scheme, and it's usually no big deal to change it to my preference. Womp womp. As far as I could discern in my short time with the game before I quit in disgust, there IS no way to change the control scheme. You just gotta figure it out or kick rocks. Well, I could maybe push through some janky mechanics and some ugly assets, IF there was some satisfying, unique core gameplay somewhere in the mix. But I draw the line at a game in 2020, let alone 2026, that won't let me choose to control the game the way I want. Refunded.
I was expecting Battlefield 1942 or CoD2 instead got Enlisted mixed with Band of brothers. Concept not bad just not what I was looking for
As fun and cool as it looks, I cant get over the horrible ai and ai pathfinding. It breaks the immersion of tactical movements and the maps are pretty flat/basic. Though there are plenty of good videos showing great ideas and fun gameplay, it is too "TABS and Ravenfield" like and it feels that way when you play.

One of the best WW2 indie shooters out there. Due to the amount of content and price of the DLCs which is all reasonable, highly recommend buying it.
Want to play Normandy landings, need to buy the dlc, want to play overlord, need to buy a dlc, need to play this, need to play that, you guessed it, buy the dlc! This is ridiculous. I still recommend it even though i only played for a few minutes but they really need to change this marketing model.
