Ok it's short but very well done, I enjoyed it and it's something I will show people when they come round :)
Not a bad VR experience at all, even though its very short. I like the idea behind this, and I personally think this is some serious stuff that most people should try. I made a first look VR gameplay of Earthquake Simulator VR, so you can judge for yourself. At the end of the gameplay, I´m giving my thoughs what I wish could be added, and also my opinion about the pricing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGxUkAOXcv4 To sum the video up: This is a 5-10 minute VR experience, with only one earthquake scenario. If you do it once, there´s not much more to explore, and I personally think its a shame - as this title has some great potential. Think about it, how many possibilities we have in Virtual Reality creating different earthquake and house fire scenarios. Please developers, add more different scenarios, more content, more different ways of escaping and hiding from the earthquake. For example: - What happens if the fire starts by the exit door? Or upstairs? - What should we do if we are upstairs and the fire starts on ground floor? - How should we act if we have several pets, or kids and family at home? Also, give us more information about all the 14 items we should collect in the "preparation" part on this simulation. Why should we need every one of these items, and how can we use them? I mean, you could add endless of different scenarios and content into this - and THEN make download content (DLC) that we can pay for. This "introduction" scenario in the current version of Earthquake Simulator VR should be available for free. Its something that every one of us should get the chance to try out. It could be about life and death - this is serious stuff, so I see this as public information for everyone, and not only for those who spend 3 euro on this. Don´t take we wrong, I can easily spend 10 euros or more on DLC's if you add the content Im mentioning above. But in this current state, this version should not cost a cent. Anyway, thanks for this release - this is something that can get really huge in VR - once you do it right. Thats why I give it thumbs up. I hope you will continue to work on this simulator - and Im looking forward to play more! Only my 2 cents Cheers SweViver
TERRIBLE - JUST ANOTHER WHIMPY CASH GRAB BY A DEVELOPER. No sound, cannot grab/hold objects as instructed, animations done by coder with 4 hours experience, flame effect dismal. Refunding this - do not waste your 6mins and then be forced to refund.
Nice job, Devs. :) Def worth the price (as i believe in supporting VR and dont think it makes sense for devs to work for free. I don't work for free, why should i expect them to?) This was a good, brief simulation and my kids and I enjoyed it. I'll also be demo'ing it for others that come over since it's short and to the point. Make sure you click the start button in the beginning or you won't be able to move the game forward and pick stuff up, etc. Thanks for creating this! PS: My 5 yr old LOVES the dog and plays the game over, and over, and over, and OVER... just so she can hide during the earthquake with the dog. Nice work!
It would be great if the game supports simplified Chinese.
Experience a short simulation of an earthquake and a house fire in Virtual Reality. I like the concept of this experience, as it was made to educate us on a serious topic by teaching us survival techniques to improve our safety in the event of such occurrences. I think VR has great educational potential, and this for example is an important topic with potential to improve the safety of those to whom it is accessible – with this growing hopefully in the future too with the growth and further adoption of VR. As such, my focus for this review is not so much on the design, which is a bit dated, as it does suffice for the purpose of an educational experience, the music is appropriate and the teleportation controls work smoothly. However, although educational to a degree, with lots of potential, I think that some improvements need to be made to the experience, to make it worth purchasing even at this low cost. These include, further explanation of why we need the items in the emergency kit, as without any explanation, this does not encourage people to prepare a kit that could potentially improve safety and be very useful. Although cheap, the experience is not free, and therefore should be more educational with more information included such as this to make it worth the purchase. Another suggestion would be that the experience could give the user more time to explore the house, with the ability to go upstairs perhaps, then making the occurrence of the earthquake and fire randomised so that you could be in any part of the house when disaster strikes, to make the experience more realistic and therefore more educational for the user. Recommending this, solely based on the fact that it's purchase could potentially improve someone's safety if it makes them think about their preparedness for such an occurrence or if it results in them making an emergency preparedness kit, but otherwise I think it should be either free or developed further. https://youtu.be/NpdTJAb_dZI

Man muss hier leider fair sein. Die Erfahrung ist zwar ok, allerdings extrem kurz, da sind selbst die 3€ zu viel, da es bessere Alternativen gibt, die kostenlos sind. A 3-10 minute "game." Should be a free educational experience. If you watched a video of this experience online: you already experienced this game entirely.
