This is one of those rare games that it is disturbingly addictive, building up your town, defending it and watching it flourish. Yes this game is early access and has some quirks but the developer is communicative and is working on resolving them, it has great potential to become a very indepth game. Please remember if you do not report bugs or feedback/suggestions for any game, the developers cannot work to resolve them so bare that in mind before leaving a review that is negative due to a bug, if the bug is not reported how can they know? what might be obvious to you as a bug might not be to others nor could it be affecting every combination of testing that has been done.
At the time of writing this, I've just about gotten an hour per dollar I've spent (Paid $13.49 for the game). And so far, I feel like I've gotten my money's worth, which is more than I can say for other Early Access games on Steam these days. That said, this is an Early Access Game, so if you're on the fence, I would highly suggest learning a bit more about what you might be buying by reading what the developer has written in the "Early Access Game" section of this Steam page. It might give you some useful insights as to the direction Earth of Oryn will take in the future. Furthermore, there's a demo, so you can poke around that as well! As for my take on the game, it's a fun little town builder! There is an aspect of verticality when building, meaning you are able to adjust the height of some structures. Additionally, you're able regenerate the layout of houses and similar buildings, which means that you're able to be a bit more creative with how you build your settlement. In its current state, the game has three missions and an 'experimental' mode, where you can tweak map generation and goals, as well as set up a sandboxing (creative) mode. The sandboxing mode is actually a very good way to figure out what bugs are present in the game, but it's also a great way to experiment with building and prop placement. There's a lot of creative builds you can make given the early state of the game. I've selectively cut down trees to make detailed parks filled with beaver statues, and even adjusted terrain to have buildings on top of some very thick and high walls surrounding my settlement. I even have an underwater laboratory... O_O TL;DR - I like it, and I've gotten my money's worth so far! If you're on the fence, there's a free demo you can play, and the dev filled out the EA form. Do your due diligence and make an informed decision!
Great potential, lovely visuals. Solo developer, I've been looking forward to this game for a while now.
This game is slowly shaping up to become one of my favourite city builders
Good game so far that has some great ideas but needs a good deal more work. The gameplay is fun, the controls are good, performance is good so far, its very chill and relaxing and its just a fun time. Seeing the Birds flying around after you set up some stuff for your villagers to go do is really chill and relaxing to :) The only issues I have seen so far in the game is that Vsync doesn't work very well, I had to turn it off, game ran perfectly fine after that. And also there could be a little variety in the houses that you place, maybe some slight small differences would be cool, even if it was like 4 different aspects each time you put it down to give each house a slightly different look and feel. It needs more content to of course, but that is a given for every EA game. I am surprised this game is not made by a bigger group of devs, it is a great baseline to build on top of atm and I can't wait to see what gets added over the next while. Was going to wait on this game and check it out down the road but I am glad I gave it a try right now, I am on a binge of City Builder games and this one is one I am glad I bought. Have only played 2 hours so far, but I have a custom game going on with settings that I want/like and it has been a blast so far. Sending villagers to go chop down trees, go mine rocks, go gather things, build things, etc.. If you like City Builders and want to go along with a game that is being built as you play in Early Access, give it a try, I had a very fun first 2 play sessions tonight and it it wasn't 2am I would keep playing for another 2 hours. Get to work creating a nice village, researching new things, getting resources and more :) Keep up the good work on the game, it has some very good potential! As a long time fan of Sim City, Anno series, Settlers and recently Farthest Frontier (along with many more over the years), this game hits the itch I have for this genre and as I said above I am glad I gave it a try no instead of 2 or 3 months down the line. I saw the main dev on the forums answering peoples questions and responding to things people wanted improved and he has been right in there answering and interacting with the community, I love to see that and tbh it is the main reason why I picked up the game right now instead of down the road. Keep up the good work on the game and interacting with the community :)
Earth of Oryn offers surprisingly comprehensive and well designed city building even in Early Access. There are many systems to discover that interact meaningfully and provide long-term motivation. The presentation is consistent and rich in detail, even if the interface could use some fine-tuning in places. And I LOVE the art style!
Unique game ! We feel the authenticity behind it ! I had fun to make my own settlement and discovering all the tools. When I read the description of the game, the author is clear about the development level and his intentions. Wish him the best and can't wait to discover more :-)
C'EST L'HISTOIRE D'UN TUTO... FIN

Je ne sais pas quelle sera la tournure des choses, mais il est clair qu'en l'état vendre un jeu pareil relève de la malhonnêteté. the game is worth an get if you don't care about new game ea jank. now that the dev did the rework fixes with the house and the water systems were both readded back in, so it should fix some the bad reviews due to those issues. so the game is slowly improving as an whole
