This is the laziest port I've ever seen. The devs simply grabbed some ROMs, coded a very basic GUI and were done. Absolutely 0 effort at 15 bucks asking price. Shameless. Absolutely shameless. Devs, can you really look your parents into their eyes and say that they have a reason to be proud of you?

This is exactly what I expected from the advertised game. I wasn't expecting some kind of upscaled re release with new features, I just wanted that classic Bobble/Bust-A-Move Arcade experience on Steam and that's exactly what this game provides. It however does have some QOL features if you wish to use them, like rewind, slow and CRT Mimic and it even has basic achievements which is a nice touch. Granted this isn't the most awe inspiring port or anything but its stable and plays perfectly and it really doesn't deserve this backlash. It was a very odd choice to have Analogue sticks for menus but D-Pad for gameplay. Play on hard vs CPU and re live those memories of getting your ass handed to you in the arcades as a kid. If your a fan of Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move grab this on sale and feel some nostalgia, you can't go wrong. There should be more Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move games on Steam and especially the new ones like the one from the Switch, hopefully we will get more. Game runs great, nice Quality of life features added but still feels just like the arcade versions, well recommended port. I noticed a negative review where the player was crying about the game being in windowed mode. You can press Alt+Enter to make the game fullscreen, no need to lash out for being computer illiterate.

To be honest, I don't know why there is so much negative reviews here. I picked this up as an old nostalgic game back from when I played on the original play station. Loading it up, I didn't expect anything new or improved. It was how I remembered it. The music, The sound effects. I didnt think for a minute that any graphic would be upgraded or gameplay, as it didnt say so on the box... Considering back in the day you would pay nearly £20-£30 on one game but here you'll pay a small amount for two games. The game itself is a simple a bubble shooter. A puzzle match, challenge mode, arcade vs the computer or vs another player. Nothing more or less. Maybe a little dated, but its fun, simple and sometimes that's all we need just to pass the time for a moment. One of the most hated point that people/reviewers mention, is the fact you play on a boxed/windowed screen..... the simple act of going to the option menu and changing the boxed screen to full screen will sort that. Other options to make the game easier is the big phat rewind button as a helping tool for those who want to go full 100%. yes, it's an easy game, in fact there are two games here. But it's still fun and really is worth the small amount that you'll pay. Ignore the haters, and play it as you want.... Because you're looking at it for a reason, and that's mainly nostalgia.. S-Tribute = Sega Saturn Port. Habiendo dicho esto, no es recomendable bajo ningún aspecto el comprar este "pack" de Puzzle Bobble; la música está demasiado desfasada con todo el resto, los menús viene por default en modo ventana (y la gran mayoría en japonés aunque se cambie de idioma en las opciones), visualmente es horrendo y, si uno revisa la carpeta de juego, literal uno se da cuenta que es un emulador de Saturn que te lo están vendiendo por sobre los 10usd. Ni siquiera comprable en oferta.

Those who know bust a move or puzzle bobble will now what they get here. The price especially on a sale is good. Irritating is the game chooser menu since it only opens in a window instead of Full Screen and no configuration option visible - you can switch to full screen later inside any of the games and the setting will move over to all titles. No questions asked nust have for fans of Bub and Bob, all others should check in game videos and decide after. A timeless classic - yes the implementaton could use further updates but it works and delivers the games, Thank you Taito for releasing the Bubble Bobble series on steam! (The original also lurks around in steam if you haven't found out yet)

現時点では「いいえ」をつける評価となり、パズルボブルについてはやむなく返品しました。 ゲーム自体は面白いものであり、昔、ゲーセンで良く遊んでいたものなので、実に惜しいです。 ゲームの内容ではなく、システムに不具合が出ているため、私のPCではまともに遊べなかったから、というのが返品した理由です。 フォーラム掲示板でも報告されていますが、どうやらパズルボブルだけでなく、CITY CONNECTIONが開発した「Sトリビュート」系のゲームで起きている様です。当方のPCで起きたことを挙げると、以下のとおりです。 ●起動するとタイトル画面とゲーム選択画面が真っ暗になるか、あるいは画面が写ったり暗くなったり、の挙動がおきる。 ●掲示板に書かれてある対処法でなんとかゲームまで行き着いたとしても、全般的に動きがやたらとモッサリとしている。 ●特に「アーケード」の方で、音声・効果音・BGMで遅延があり、ズレたタイミングの効果音で苦笑いｗ 私はこれとは別の「Sトリビュート」のメタルブラックを所有していますが、パズルボブルの返品申請後、メタルブラックを久々に起動してみたところ、見事に、これにも同様の不具合が起きていました。メタルブラックについては、去年ぐらいまでは普通に遊べていたので、もしかしたら今年（2026年）に行われたWindows11のシステムアップデート（？）のどこかによって引き起こされているのかもしれません。 「Sトリビュート」系ゲームを全て所有してはいないので断定はできませんが、「バブルボブル」「メタルブラック」で同様の不具合を私自身は確認したので、他の「Sトリビュート」系ゲームは様子見しようと思っています。 開発元のCITY CONNECTIONには、どうかこの不具合を確認していただき、どうか修正していただきたいと思っています。

I love this game but this version doesn't load but in a small window upon launch... After that I select a game choice the screen goes dark then back to the same windowed screen. This game doesn't work at all on modern hardware. Running i9 with RTX-4090. No way to go full screen from game selection screen...
