Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was on the fence for whether or not to recommend this game, but in the end - I don't think this game landed perfectly for me. If you like EDF, you will like this game - it's a good EDF game. The EDF song is great. It can be fun with friends, and the fact that it's so over the top is great. Here's why I don't think the game fully resonated with me. The gameplay doesn't *feel* perfect - enemies are sometimes bullet-spongy, and there isn't a ton of variety or strategy beyond "kill them all because you're powerful enough" or "kite them all because you're not powerful enough." The difficult later missions weren't more *interesting* for their difficulty - they were just extra punishing if you accidentally agro'd too much. And here's my biggest complaint - the leveling. Having character experience and armor *can* be good in the right type of game, and it is fun to unlock more weapons, but the armor is just too punishing if you don't have enough. Basically, you *cannot* switch characters, at least not without far too much time investment. You just won't have enough armor (weapons isn't as much of an issue because you can get a few good weapon drops on a harder level). Only playing as one character could be fine if it was interesting enough or had enough variety, or for example it felt earned (like imagine an RPG where you spend time crafting your build), but it didn't for me. That was enough for me to think that the game is 'fine' but not good enough to recommend to others.

bloody amazing, so much more fun BECAUSE of its bad graphics for some reason. the game is chaotic and fun
The game's default bgm setting to 50% is criminal, go set it to 75%+. Enjoy the epic music along with the bizarre and of course epic battles to defend mother Earth.
If you have ever wanted to both hit a spider with a hammer and beat not Godzilla to death with a not gundam in the same game all while being very overwelmed than this is the game for you! There is also a story but to be honest, it isn't super important to the gameplay. Best played with friends.
Boring and repetitive. How did this get Overwhelming reviews is beyond me. The grinding is too obnoxious with you having to replay the same missions over and over again in order to unlock better (more fun) weapons+vehicles. Classes are imbalanced, making single player mode frustrating. AI is garbage, always looking for 1 random missing bug on the map. Getting randomly oneshotted and have to listen to the same dialoge 10x in a row isnt fun. Controls are garbage and clunky, I ended up rolling around at 45 degree angles as the Ranger for example as there isn't a sprint or the ability to roll forward. Playing the Fencer, the heavily-armed tanky unit, was satisfying until I realised that there isn't really much fun when you want to get somewhere, you can thrust forward a bit over and over but nothing more. It just ends up feeling bothersome. You'll also end up using weapons strangely too, aiming assault rifles at unusual angles because "it fires that way", it's plain silly... Accuracy may increase with the "level" but why should a weapon be so bad by default? It makes some of them It's practically unusable unless you're willing to aim wrong. UI is garbage. The interface is strange, there isn't a cursor so you end up clicking to select and using WASD to move around the menus, menus that don't always feel intuitive. Every time you start the game you'll be notified with a popup "You will use the mouse" etc., it's badly translated and shouldn't even be a message you need to see. Things like that add up. Progression is disappointing. It may have been the dealbreaker. I suspect it also is to anyone that values upgrade systems and customisation. There's no real armour upgrades, visual or functional, just an number that goes up that's essentially just health. Aside from that one health value, you also won't have any kind of progression with your character, no stats, no skills, nothing. What you will get are guns, guns that only level-up when "looted" again, that's it. I feel like a lot of depth is lost here, it could be so much more. Oh and sure, you can change two colours on your uniform but that's hardly of much value. It'd be nice to at least have several armour sets with different stats for each class. It would nice to have something to feel like you're progressing yourself and not just random weapons. This game is what happens when the Japanese make a game for Americans by using just stereotypes after watching a B-rated monster movie marathon as a joke. Luckily for us Americans our stereotypes are accurate, B-rated movies are good, and this joke had a bottom line. JUST BUY THE GAME
amazing game , wild amounts of old school capcom fun ; good times!
This game is loud, dumb, noisy, flashy, janky and utterly lovable. Some of my best gaming experiences.
Big part of my childhood, but I never got to finish it then or as an adult because thanks to helldivers, its even more niche and underrated. But you can't beat EDF
