makes me feel like an archaeologist.
main server works again! cool game about empty games
Should port to meta quest too.
I don't understand the point of this game
No players, no goals, nothing to do. Do not buy.
it's an asymetric PC/VR/AR game based on a "hypermodded de_dust2 server" an unspecified amount of time in the future. the gunplay on PC plays, unsuprisingly, sort of like CS, and suprisingly, also sort of like Quake - you spawn with an AK or M4 depending on your team, but can pick up various quake guns & bhop around the map quite easily - but that's not the main draw of the game. in VR, you control 2 massive floaty hands, one with a rocket launcher and one with a laserbeam(?). your hands have full collision, so you can lift up PC players. i've never played the AR version, since my phone doesnt support it, but it seems to allow you to project the map onto a table or other flat structure, and you can interact with the world similarly to how VR players can. it's more of a social game than strictly a shooter. there are plenty of resources at your disposal to "build" cool structures, available on both PC and VR (not sure about AR) to allow you to make some weird things with your friends, or to just hang out and talk. unfortunately, the game never hit the mainstream, and it remains incredibly dead a solid 99% of the time. oddly enough, that seems to be the most fitting fate for "the last remaining de_dust2 server". this game will eventually die a silent death, leaving only our memories behind. have fun while you still can.
This game gave me this weird feeling that no other game, I've spent so much time just bhopping around while talking to my friend, the game is just piece of art
good soundtrack
