DUSTNET Review DUSTNET is an asymmetrical cross-platform deathmatch, where you can join as a PC, VR, or AR player and enter the ruins of a de_dust2 server. DUSTNET Sound ambitious from its description, and its actually quite interesting to play the game with a few people all playing in the different modes, (Vr,AR, and first person) Or well that is when you can actually play cause the game is dead on arrival, the EU servers are always empty and only the NA server has 2 or 3 players online sometimes, i'd call it a shame but i don't see how this game could succeed, its fun to play around in for like 30m but after that it just gets quit boring even if you try all the modes, I Played the PC mode and there are literary only a few weapons in the game, that most of the times you cant even use since like i said nobody plays this game. If we look at the few positives we quickly see that in no way it redeems the game enough to justify buying it, The positives: An unique and fun idea The map is fun to play on I guess the auto bunny hopping can cause for some funny moments And well, thats it pretty much now if we look at the negatives: Gets repetitive fast All servers are dead Almost no weapons to use I guess if you can get some friends to buy the game with you and don't mind that you will most likely only get a maximum of a few hours of it then this is not the worst buy you can make since with some friends it could potentially be quite an fun experience for 2/3 hours. Definitely a video game

If Hideo Kojima and the entirety of Streum On Studio had an orgy on Valve HQ, this would be the result.

DUSTNET plays solid and has great atmosphere, but lacks in user experience and direction. There's a map with the de_dust2 layout, but the playable area is so large and has been modified so much that you're rarely experiencing dust2. There's the ability to modify maps in real-time, but I didn't see or feel any reason to. There's deathmatch & bomb/defuse, but it's jumbled up with the free-roaming sandbox mode. There's quake/source style movement and power-ups, but again, jumbled with sandbox mode. I can't recommend this game because it doesn't make any sense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3DMmJBBLuw
