Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was a charming experience, loved learning about the duppies and the character design was awesome. Not a difficult mystery solving type game, but a short and sweet story based experience that has replay value.
Played over my launch break and this is a really interesting and fun game you should defiantly give it a shot
Duppy Detective Tashia is a wonderfully whimsical dive into the Caribbean! It's got a great cast of charming characters, and a delightfully cozy mystery to boot! I am having a wonderful time with this visual novel so far, and you can tell the amount of love and soul poured into this. Highly Highly recommend for fans of Ace Attorney and the like.

A delightful, adorable, and enjoyable game! The art is wonderful and the characters are fun! I can already tell I'll be playing this multiple times.
Well, it finally happened to me. I always thought that folks who were like "I wish there was a neutral review" were in a bad spot and was glad I never got there, until tonight. Look, I LOVE the animation at the beginning and the other animations throughout are nice, I love the take on Jamaican culture and language but there just is not a lot here for $8, even with multiple choices. I'm still giving it a positive review because I liked the characters, animation work, music (as sparse as it was) and having multiple choices. But most of them feel unnecessary and one of them is flat out ignored in favor of the story's plot which felt rude. I LIKED this game, but it's not a strong recommendation from me, sadly. I also got some annoying audio pops here and there that were irritating, but overall no major bugs.
These couple characters grew on me pretty quickly with their quirks and interactions. Enjoyed the time I spent figuring out what was what. Looking forward to the next chapter.
I played this given the excitement I saw around it and the mention of Caribbean Folklore. It was a very quick interactive visual novel, but I enjoyed my brief time in it. I was drawn in by the funny characters and the hand drawn art and the conversations. I appreciate seeing some Jamaican dialect, too. Some real love was put into this and it was wonderful to see representation of Caribbean tales and influence. However, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say this is more than just an interactive visual novel and appears to be this teams first go attempting mystery and a point and click. The story is too linear to feel like you are in control of what's happening. While there is some deductions happening via our main character, I came to a completely different outcome at least once and was disappointed I couldn't choose a different culprit. There were no real point and click mechanics beyond navigation, so I feel that is extremely misleading. While you do go to places and uncover clues, you don't have to search for them or choose the right one. Lastly I was disappointed that little energy was put into the inclusion of the stories of the entities you came across. That was the main reason I immediately bought this game. I was hoping for something deeper, but it was all very surface level and while the characters certainly had personality, they didn't necessarily need to be associated with the Folklore. Overall, there isn't enough decision making/deduction and interaction in the right ways to put this on par with other mystery point and clicks, but I'd want to see this team try again. All that said, I don't want to punish the developer for not quite hitting the mark tagging wise, but I'll recommend this solely for those looking for a fun, quick interactive visual novel that's outside of the norm.
I love the story and setting! It's a unique take on a mystery game.
5/10. I am both impressed and very disappointed with this game. I love the characters, the art, the folklore. It is extremely short, but I can tell a lot of care went into the game. Unfortunately, this is a game is such a let down. I was hooked, thinking that my choices mattered and had an impact on the other characters and the outcome of the game, just for nothing to really matter. I am not sure if that was the point, but I literally said "That's it..?" All in all, I would recommend this game for the Caribbean lore and the art is amazing. Just don't expect much.
A charming experience just like you'd expect. Fulla vibes and culture. if you like point &click mysteries this will be your jam
