For the price(wait for sale i got for 99c) its a supremely good game... true rouge-like dungeon creation... cant complain at all for the price, collect letters to craft items. Basic game play. Lava = restart Falling = restart Extra lives Things to smash with loot 4 hereos A few weapons 8 potions hours of fun Blood Neat idea for a game world/art style. instantly dying is annoying i wish there was a mode where it was a percentage of hp. 7/10
Imagine a traditional CRPG Roguelike (as in, like the game rogue, not whatever people think it means nowadays) but turned into a real time action RPG. This is awesome, and I would love to see a sequel.
I'm surprised about the low amount of feedback for this game. The complains are relatable. Jumps that can instantly end a good run. And the runs oftentimes last for 90 or more minutes even with low game experience. Quite frustrating. There is a ton of RNG. The suffering is real. BUT this game is addictive. The randomization of the level layouts lets them feel fresh and interesting every time. I learn something new with every run. There is not too much depth on the survace, but there are so many little details that keep me captivated. For example, there are 4 charracter classes. And 5 different types of melee weapons. For each class, the attack combo of each weapon type is different. And, even though this game is easy to pick up, it takes a long time to improve your combat performance. You really need to know when to button mash, when to hit and run, when to use potions, when to dodge and attack from behind, when to use ranged attacks.... It's a journey. The game is very unique in being hack'n'slash and at the same time implementing so many elements of traditional roguelikes AND Gauntlet (especially from the 90s, like Gauntlet Legends in Arcades/Dreamcast/N64/Playstation). And even though it might not be perfect, it works! I'm entertained af.
I hate being That Guy, but I really wanted to like this. It has so much charm and is quite fun to play, despite just being a simple Diablo clone in a Nethack themed world. And the theme is GREAT, all the ASCII art, all the time. But then... they added instakill pits. Which they don't warn you about. But they're introduced early enough that you don't lose too much progress. But then... there are more. Like, quite a few broken up hallways with instakill pits. Which might not be soooo bad, but the platforming mechanics in this Nethack themed Diablo clone are UNSURPRISINGLY terrible. But then... after getting many floors down, past at least one boss-type creature, with a bunch of specialized equipment, and several healing potions and extra lives... I was knocked into a pool of lava and instakilled... But then got back up! And finished the fight! And then just barely dipped my toe into another pool of lava and instantly died. There's punishing and then there's Brut@l. And Brut@l should have had another couple of passes through QA to iron out what should be considered acceptable behavior from roguelike dungeon crawler platformers.
Could do with far fewer instant-death pits though.
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
oyun baya tatlı geldi roguelike zindan savaşları sevenler bayılacaktır kontroller gayet düzgün içerik zengin. hojdur...
Неплохая игра, разработчики сэкономили на визуале, за-то сделали прикольную боёвку, на несколько часов игры я думаю эта игра потянет)
