Dungeon Riddle

I wanted to make sure to give this a review. First: The game style is cute and simplistic, while also getting the point across. The puzzles aren't very complex, which can be either a good thing, or a bad thing depending on your preference. There isn't any notes to read, which I consider a bonus given the saturation of the indie game market. The style of the game is that whenever you hit a trap you start over and have to do everything again, which, I think was done primarily to extend the time of the game since it doesn't really serve much of a purpose other than that. You just have to follow the same steps over, and over if you make a misstep. The floor traps are very hard to see, which, against, is either a pro or con depending on your preference, but since the traps don't move or anything, once you get where it is, you're set. There isn't much of a story, and the dialogue feels a little odd or forced when there is dialogue. It's a fine short game. I think it's probably better to just showcase skills, than for full play, at least at the price tag of 9 dollars. It might be work a few dollars, but not more than that. I think the dev has some clear skills, and I can absolutely see them producing some solid games.
