There's something to be said for a game like this. I always admire games that are so pure, unambitious, and competent. Most of us have played enough zelda games to find some intrinsic motivation to smash a few pots, and the fact there's nothing else on offer means I, the player, got just what I was promised. Even a game as simple as this reveals foundational game design principles like progression, discovery, and compelling level layouts. Many games that are much more complex in design seek to achieve what "A game about Breaking Pots" achieves, but get bogged down by bloat, story, unnecessary mechanics, and more. What you have here is an excellent template for a great video game, and a truly fantastic gem would emerge if you were only to wander a bit further along the same path. As it stands, my only complaint is that it isn't longer.

Perfect snack sized game if you have a little time to kill!

A nice little game where you let go of your inhibitions and just break as many pots as you can. Connect to your inner Link from The Legend of Zelda and just reign terror on some terracotta! Good for an hour or two.

I had fun :) It's a quick game but it satisfied an itch
