Arrakis. Dune. Desert Planet. Raise your banner above the vast wasteland before you. As the Great Houses of the Landsraad marshal their forces and their spies, whom will you influence, and whom will you betray? A tyrannical Emperor. The secretive Bene Gesserit. The shrewd Spacing Guild. The ferocious Fremen of the Deep Desert. The power of the Imperium can be yours, but war is not the only way to claim it.
Dune: Imperium blends deck-building and worker placement in a deeply thematic new strategy game where the fate of the Empire hangs on your decisions. Will you seek political allies or rely upon military might? Economic strength or subtle intrigues? A council seat… or a sharpened blade? The cards are dealt. The choice is yours. The Imperium awaits.
In Dune: Imperium, you'll step into the role of one of the leaders of the Great Houses of the Imperium in a struggle to control the planet Arrakis and the invaluable Spice it provides.
The game plays out in a series of ten rounds, each of which is defined by a new Conflict on the surface of the planet; some award critical resources, and some provide Victory Points that will propel you to dominance. But choose your battles wisely: spread your forces too thin, and you'll find your enemies growing too strong to oppose.
Each round, you'll draw a hand of five cards from your deck, which will get stronger over the course of the game as you acquire new cards. Each card can be played in one of two ways: To send an Agent out into the Imperium to gather resources, or to Reveal at the end of the round to purchase new powerful cards. You must maintain a careful balance to get the most of the resources available to you. How will you find your path?
As your game progresses, you'll vie for Influence with four factions of the Imperium: The Emperor, the economically powerful Spacing Guild, the mysterious Bene Gesserit, and the ferocious Fremen of the deep deserts. Earning Influence among the various groups helps you to earn the Victory Points you need...but will you compete with your rivals for their favor, or abandon alliances to pursue other opportunities?
Many strategies are at your disposal, and many paths to victory. The cards are dealt. The choice is yours. The Imperium awaits.

Core game is a lean, laser focused, tight experience. A game where you need to be absolutely competitive to get the most out of it. If this is what you are after the game is a must as the competitive angle really is what puts this game ahead of many others. For me however, someone who doesn't want to be constantly making optimal moves and would enjoy some room to breath when it comes to creating my deck strategy and engine building it sadly leaves no room for manoeuvre. The deck building is especially a sticking point for me, while some cards give you manipulation especially when coupled with certain intrigue cards it doesn't leave me with any kind of plans coming to fruition as your carefully tailored card deck is trumped by single cards that bring in victory points or quickly move a faction up the alliances track. Someone needs to bring Shadowrun Crossfire to the digital space.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Jul 20 → 4.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Having to buy base game and 2 dlc to play ranked, with no rotation of ranked game mode (it's always base game and both expansions), just leaves this feeling like a stagnant product imo. I hope they release uprising at some point, and I will give that a look. This version of the game just has so much bloat, yet so much of it isn't balanced, so a lot of the options in gameplay can be ignored for more favourable choices. From what I understand it will never be balanced, as they are keeping it the same as the board game content. Honestly, I think that's a mistake, if this game could be improved by updates, then I'd update it and offer a physical 'patch' pack for people who own the board game, if they want it. TLDR, too many factors holding this back, but has a premium price to play the complete game, even when on sale.

Dune:Imperium is a very good game. I had never played it before, bought it recently and I am having a lot of fun. I play with both expansions on, and with the “go to eleven” variation enabled. Playing against 3 AI bots in hard mode is challenging. Although a mediocre strategy gamer at best, I like to play against challenging AIs, and so far, achieving an average of 30% winning rate is fun and good enough for me. Every game plays differently, and it´s all about adaptation. If you get stuck to one strategy only, you will likely lose a lot, because the AI know how to move competently. Finally, if any developer is reading this, please add a game history with a bit more information, taking into consideration 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions. In “Through the Ages”, it´s possible to filter the difficulty mode you played and there is an average score taking all your final positions into consideration. It´s a little thing, I know, but for me it adds some motivation to finish second or third.
Really great translation of the boardgame into a very well designed digital experience, seamless online play and well through UI/UX. Well done devs!
本来觉得电子化做的也就一般,直到看到隔壁伯明翰电子版和幽港迷城电子版,还是得给恐狼一个好评
This is my first board game although I enjoy card games like Slay The Spire, Magic, Yu-gi-oh. I have to say I didn't enjoy it, I only played 6-8 games after the tutorial and I got tips online on how to win, I can't say it's very forgiving, I didn't win once. I swapped to easy and still didn't win. It was easy to learn the basics but in order to win even on easy, you need to be an advanced player and have an actual strategy. Maybe board games aren't for me.
Actually not so complicated. The tutorial is really great, play one game on your own and you'd have it.
Spent more than enough time on this game for a accurate review which you will get right now. The Good: The board game itself is fantastic and the interface for the PC works well. That's what kept me playing. The BAD: There's not enough online players so if you want live play online, good luck. Too much time waiting for players. You'll also need to buy all the DLC because the base game is very boring and you can't play online games without all the DLC because of lack of players. I've played most my games against the AI and here's the truth. The AI absolutely cheats because it knows every card you have and it plays based on your hand. It works together to block what is in your hand. At the same time, the AI is stupid because that's its whole strategy. It's called lazy AI programming because they didn't want to program real strategies. So AI games are nothing like what a real player does. Sad that they couldn't even spend a little bit of time to program real AI strategies. Easy enough to beat the game of 3 dumb AI hard setting players working against you once you realize their dumb programming.
