Reviews
It's fine. It's not particularly bad, but I didn't find it as good as many people clearly did. It's a pretty game with nice music, but that's about it. The gameplay, while okay, is repetitive and recycles the same 4 fishing minigames. The story is a very shallow "cosmic horror" with every cliche used in it. The characters are basically non-existent (they are there, but you learn virtually nothing about them). The quests are okay, but nothing exciting. Go play "Still wakes the deep" if you want a proper Lovecraftian horror about "awakening something from the depths". Play this one if you want a cozy fishing simulator with minimal story and worldbuilding
Lovely little boat and very relaxing (except at night).
Game does exactly everything it sets out to do. The daytime is peaceful, calm, and relaxing. Fishing mechanics are easy to get a hang of, customization is also diverse. However, the nighttime complete changes the atmosphere of the game. Leviathan, lovecraftian horrors make sure you dont take the safety of the day for granted and engage the audience through effective time and resource management. The art and writing for each sprite and fish in the game is extremely engaging as well, and this game is a must play for its extremely modest price.
Fun and relaxing fishing game (if your on Passive mode)
