Excellent !
A laid-back experience that I quite enjoyed. There was tension at first, but I became more comfortable and daring as I progressed. I really enjoyed filling out my encyclopedia, getting to see all of the fish and their otherworldly aberrations, even the uncatchable ones were a welcome sight during my travels that made me smile. A memorable moment for me was when the arm of a huge Squid rose out of the water, only for a Sperm Whale to surface and drag it back down, I was shocked. Another fond moment was when I entered the Stellar Basin for the first time, the environmental sounds building up on the way, leading into some lovely music as I came face-to-face with a gorgeous view.
Got it on sale for 20€. Got all achievements. The Good This game is like fortnite, but instead of shooting foes and drinking chug juice, you drive a boat and catch fish. So actually it is nothing like fortnite. Its a nice and cozy fishing game. Not much stress. Just chilling, exploring and catching fish. Has a unique asthetic, unique mechanic and even a story. Some cosmic horror inspirations to see. Has 5 areas to explore that all got their unique feel and little gimmick. (6 and a half areas if you include the DLCs) Many side quests and things to explore. Catching every fish is not a pain or big grind. Many upgrades and abilities to unlock. Overall it is just a very decent fishing game. You will have fun in your first few hours and will most likely want to see the game through to the end! The Bad Overpriced for what you get. I would really not recommend to buy this at the original price. The game is not replayable and the DLCs don't bring that much with them. Many upgrades seem useless and you probably won't equip them. The going crazy mechanic gets real annoying after a while. You just wanna fish at night and your characters starts tripping like he nibbled on shrooms. My god having to unequip and equip different rods for different fish types is a real pain. Grinding upgrade materials is a pain sometimes if you simple can't find the things you need. Some puzzles required a guide, but tbh I think that was just my stupidity. Nevertheless the game is still worth checking out if you can enjoy a cozy experience, with some stressfull moments in between! The 100% Easy peasy. Not much to say. You really won't struggle. Some fun ones here and there, but nothing really missable or hard to get. Just enjoy your time :)
Pretty chill sometimes ;3
