About
Lyra is a half-elf who lives in a village where elves and humans have lived together in peace for centuries, protected from the monsters from outside by a magical barrier. Everything seemed peaceful until a mysterious mist started to cover the village making people sick, including her mother. Searching for a way to save her, Lyra finds in her father's notes that the solution would be outside the barrier. However, whoever crosses it can never return and becomes an exile.
Determined, Lyra sets out on her journey of no return and finds that the stories she heard were a farce. Investigating the reasons that led to so many lies, she meets other exiled girls. Now, she is faced with the mission of clearing the barrier and returning to her village, at the same time she can experience her first love.

Not a bad concept. I like the idea of jrpg styled game without battles (JRPG battles can be tedius). Controls can feel floaty and not precise at time. Great music, ok level design, great art style. It's 2 dollars, can't really complain too much. Short and sweet. Free NSFW Dlc if you like that kind of thing. Pros: Cute Lesbians, casual gameplay, cool music and art Cons: The game sometimes has a memory leak issue and uses 6-8 gb of ram.
Hey there, first review! Lets get to it: To start off, I'd like to say I've found Dreams of an Exile quite charming and I'm a little surprised it doesn't have more of a following. It's nothing mind-blowing but rather a cute little rpg maker puzzle game without any sort of (often tedious) battle elements one might expect when stumbling upon something like this. Dreams of Exile is reliant on terrain puzzles, vaguely reminiscent of older Zelda titles with some occasionally timed 2-D platforming to keep you on your toes. The puzzles themselves are pretty simple BUT it still took a simpleton like me a bit of time to understand which thing did what and when I should use something. Even then, the game itself is pretty forgiving. The music is genuinely quite good! I really dig the main menu tune, seriously. I'm a huge fan of the art shown throughout the game as well, shout out to the artist! Really gives the game so much of it's character. The interactions and relationships between the girls is super cute too <3 My only 'cons' to mention are the fact that I managed to do a step or two out of order I'm assuming and it rendered me unable to speak with a specific NPC. I've brought this up in the bug discussion thread so the devs are now aware. Other than that, the game has run fine and well for me. As of writing this I still haven't finished the entire game but all in all I've very much enjoyed my time spent and felt it easily worth the $2.99 price. I'd definitely recommend to at least try it out! (Side note: I appreciate that the NSFW content being free DLC rather than part of the main game. Its there if you want it, and isn't if you don't!)
I haven't finished the boss yet when I'm making this comment, but I think I can already get a general sense of the game. First: I think the topic addressed is very interesting. Not only the question of the protagonist's story, but her involvement with other girls. I really miss lesbian games where girls are really respected as lesbians. Lots of points for the script! <3 In the rest, it’s very nice, the adult art is very lovely, the music is great, the character design is pretty, as well as the arts. I believe that the difficulty of the puzzles and the boss is compatible with the gameplay of people who are used to the style, but for my style of gaming, I believe that it's too difficult. If this game is in the “casual” class, it means that I have already lost myself in terms and classifications of games haha Shame on me
Short and simple, but made with passion. I recommend it~
我看不懂我想要中文哪怕是机翻 I can't understand. I want Chinese, even if it's machine translation
너무 재미 없고 나랑 안맞는거 같아서 환불함. 야한게 언제 나올지 도무지 감을 잡을수도 없음.
If you're the kind of person who loves collecting collectables in games then this is definitely the game for you, however it's personally my least favorite part of games so I wouldn't recommend it for me.
This game looks so fun, the visuals are pretty and it's non-fetishistic Yuri, non-combat focused RPG! However, there are some issues with accessibility. Controllers don't work, it probably also wouldn't work on SteamDeck but I'm not willing to install it on there considering how bad it was on PC. A bug seems to be preventing me from using a weapon which means I can't progress as I need the weapon for some puzzles (presumably). I say presumably, because there isn't a tutorial and some of the puzzles or objectives aren't intuitive. Dev's haven't responded to my questions, so I'm assuming they're not active at this point, so I wouldn't anticipate fixes for these issues. I will try to include more details on accessibility considerations that have been met and what could be added later but I'm a bit discouraged due to the lack of early game accessibility.
Always nice to have more LGBTQIA+ games. Really recommend it!
