A NOT Troll Game

Not something worth trying. I'll elaborate. First off, I'm not going to judge the UI since it was designed from the ground up to be somewhat simplistic. However, with text being obscured into these illegible blobs it's really hard to make out what I'm actually aiming for. The controls are really off and unintuitive. There's no way to bind the jump key to up arrow (which is what I usually use), While that problem could be mitigated with the help of a remapper, there's a bigger problem that I don't have with some other platformers: THE FACT THAT I CAN'T BUFFER THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KEYS. Listen, this is extremely easy to implement, and you can absolutely do this through a C# gamedev tutorial. I still can't understand why I need to press space repeatedly just to stack jumps. I don't mind if the Coob doesn't flip and rotate, but at least make the controls a bit more flexible. Gameplay-wise, there are ten main levels that introduces you to various mechanics of the game, but the gist of it is that you play as one character, Coob, that does things, gets to level 10 to "fight" the boss and back to 6 for some crazy horror. A lot of the elements among those levels are really generic and don't really make this game stand out. It's just a generic platformer that pulls a mildly surprising prank when it feels like it. Level 10 contains a bossfight of some sort, which is basically dodging bullets just like the ones that are up on Scrach or something. There's nothing unique of this, not even abilities or handicaps. The level editor is also unintuitive. I played with it for around 10 minutes and then gave up because there doesn't seem to be any hints on how I can start building. It's not really flexible, either, you're just limited to some blocks, hazards and fakeouts. Most other games I have do way better than this. If you're looking for an actually good platformer game and don't mind four extra bucks, spend your money on something like Geometry Dash, it has all the features I mentioned plus a few more that make it entertaining for a long period of time. If I can recreate most of this game in Geometry Dash it might as well just be a Geometry Dash level. Still makes for a dumb little gift for the gullible people I know, credit where it's due.
