Lovely game. Beautiful visuals, gorgeous music, the same great Dragon Quest battle mechanics as always. It might be my least favorite of the ones I've played story-wise (I've played 7, 8, 9 and 11) but the baseline quality for DQ is so high that I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I'd love to see more remakes like this.

Good remake overall. The graphics go hard, as does the voice acting, as per usual. For this game in particular, I feel like they made it much more accessible in terms of story and length, compared to the original game - which was something like 100h to complete just the main story. As someone who has played the original but not the 3DS version, this felt like a positive overhaul. Overall, really enjoyable, definitely recommend.

初めて遊ぶ方をターゲットにした良リメイク作です 新規プレイヤーがストレスを感じそうな部分に手が入って スムーズにゲームを進められる設計になっています。 グラフィック、演出面も大幅に強化されて過去作を何度も遊んでいても新鮮な気分でプレイできました。 バトルや育成回りの変更は最近のDQ作に合わせて大味なものになっていますが 難易度を上げてプレイしたのでDQ1~3リメイクほどのバランス崩壊を感じずに楽しめました。 ドロップ率アップ装備が有用すぎて呪いの装備と化すので モンスターの心を入れる枠が無くなるのが惜しい・・・ 過去作の思い出があるプレイヤーには追加＆削除されたシナリオによって 話の流れに違和感を感じたりする部分はあります。 また、昨今のSQEX作でよくあるUEのFatalErrorが発生することがあります 私の環境では起動オプションに-d3d11を入れることで回避できました。
