Years ago, the great hero Ortega bid farewell to his wife and child as he set off on a quest to defeat the villainous Archfiend, Baramos. Ortega failed his quest, and Baramos still threatens the world. Now, on their sixteenth birthday, Ortega’s only child is summoned by the king of Aliahan and entrusted with a mission of the highest import: to take on Ortega’s quest, vanquish Baramos, and save the world.
Recruit a variety of allies, with three able to join your party to aid you on your quest. Choose their vocations, appearances and their voices. There's even a brand new vocation exclusive to this remake: the monster wrangler!

Great remake of the series that exposed me to the RPG world. I remember playing the original version when I was a kid, so the nostalgia factor is high on this one. That being said, it is a fun game. The graphics and voicework are well done. Stays true to the original while incorporating new elements that blend together nicely. Would highly recommend to anyone old school fan of the franchise.

Played it many years ago when it was called Dragon Warrior 3, its like playing a whole new game. Am having fun so far.

Este Dragon Quest presenta dos aspectos muy interesantes respecto a sus predecesores: Por un lado, crear a tus compañeros de viaje en la Taberna de Petricia y, por otro, cambiar las vocaciones y, con ello, las habilidades y conjuros de tus personajes. La narrativa me resulta bastante más interesante que en DQ 1&2 HD-2D. Todo lo que rodea al personaje de Ortega y como decides ir siguiendo sus pasos. El juego te va presentando incontables personajes por todo el mundo, que rememoran a través de flashbacks escenas del pasado sobre Ortega y su legado. En cuanto a lo visual y lo musical, al igual que DQ1&2 HD-2D, es un sobresaliente. Pocos videojuegos tan bellos como este. Lo artístico arrasa y tapa algunos defectos que tienen más que ver con las limitaciones que arrastra un videojuego de 1988. Para mí el contenido extra (minimedallas y monstruos) es inabarcable. No he llegado a completar el juego al 100% porque me exigía un volumen de tiempo excesivo para lo que iba a obtener a cambio.

The difficulty is a bit uneven and there are some rough spikes here and there, but otherwise this is a really charming version of a classic game and well worth your time if you're interested in the oldest-school JRPGs in the business
O que falar desse clássico repaginado ? Com melhorias de vida muito boas e algumas coisas adicionais que realçam ainda mais essa história maravilhosa, platinar DQ3 depois de já ter jogado ele em todas as versões que já lançaram foi algo realmente sublime para mim, a cada cutscene que deixava a narrativa mais emocionante e dava nova vida aqueles pixels q eu tanto joguei de NES e SNES eu me emocionava demais. Como fã de DQ eu recomendo demais esse game a todos. Como fã de JRPG acredito que quem não é familiarizado com RPG de turno deveria dar uma chance a esse jogo, você vai entender o porque do gênero ser tão amado e permanecer firme mesmo depois de um monte de gente dizendo e " RPG Turn-based Morreu " !
Dragon Quest is super fun. I have always liked RPGs but never really played a lot of Dragon Quest. This game is awesome. Really fun and easy to get into.
