DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake is a stunning reimagination of the first two legendary adventures in The Erdrick Trilogy, brought together in one package.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 5 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was not aware that I liked Dragon Quest until I played this one.
Dragon Quest 2 HD on Draconian is one of the more challenging RPG experiences I've had. Every boss feels like a fun puzzle to solve - doubly so if you're coming into it underleveled, undergeared, and missing abilities or spells that the game likely expected you to have. Up to a point, anyway. In the post-game, your next set of gear upgrades are all behind extremely difficult bosses and dungeons. You can clear this game at level 45 on Draconian without becoming the joker, but if you actually want to engage in the post-game content, you're going to need to level, a lot. Not sure exactly how high, as the game is testing my patience and I may be about ready to move on - but I've read anywhere from 65 to 75, even if you're playing on normal. Considering the enhanced difficulty, reduced EXP gains, and absence of sufficient grinding spots in this context...I think that's about where it stops being fun. Anyone who plays on normal will get to enjoy a pretty well-balanced adventure at a good pace, taking somewhere between 25-35 hours, and a more natural progression into the end-game and its optional superbosses.
The true ending of Dragon Quest 2: Absolute cinema
Really fun games i liked the storys in the games they were really good id say out of Both of the games Dragon quest 2 was my favorite there is allot to it and will keep you entertained for hours Dragon quest 1 was okay i just didnt like the fact that you didnt get a party But i suggest playing both for the story. Also if you havent play Dragon quest 11 its basically dragon quest 0 The true begining of the Erdrick Trilogy. I hope one day soon they port Dragon quest online to the U.S it would be nice i played the Dragon quest Offline version its got a really good story as well really well written Honestly if they would put all expansions on the offline game and make it a complete game and get it English Translated i would definetly buy it again for PC i own it on My nintendo switch i got a copy Imported from Japan and i played it with Google Translate Heres to hoping one day anyway Great job on the remakes.
These are pretty basic and simple JRPGs from a mechanics and story standpoint. It would have a bit of a chill vibe to it if enemies weren't able to completely demolish you at times. I appreciate the QOL they added, the autosaves came in handy several times when dying in the overworld. I started out enjoying the games, even if they were a bit boring, but the combat difficulty would suddenly take a turn where you're getting killed so quickly it became unfun pretty quickly.
