We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
An enjoyable experience. Having played all the games throughout the series it has been fun putting time into the story. I understand the frustrations of others with how the series has been changing throughout the years. If you don't take it too seriously it is nice to get more story to play.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard on PC is a visually stunning, highly optimized action game that marks a sharp departure from traditional tactical RPGs. Playing as a Warrior feels incredibly punchy and responsive, focusing on fast-paced shield bashes, parries, and devastating active ability combos. The combat shines brightly, but the trade-off is a heavily streamlined experience with simplified dialogue choices and less role-playing depth. The story features fantastic, character-driven companion missions, though the overall writing lacks the gritty, dark fantasy edge of earlier titles. Linear level designs replace open-world exploration, keeping the momentum fast and focused on cinematic set pieces. Performance on PC is remarkably smooth, making the colorful, magic-infused environments look spectacular during intense fights. Ultimately, it is a highly polished blockbuster action-adventure that trades its deep RPG roots for accessible, exhilarating combat.
Dunno what everyone's on about. this game is great, yeah... the writing might be a little lack lustre and pretty poor but it makes up for with great satisfying combat, great visuals, not to mention the great hair physics. and the story actually wraps up nicely. solid 7.5/10. Once you get passed the bad writing there is a little gem here.
I've had a lot of fun playing this game. Visuals are amazing - as has been echoed by both the positive and negative reviews, environments are truly gorgeous. Combat is fun - I just finished Nioh 3 and the combat here was a nice change of pace (obviously, this game's combat is not anywhere near as mechanically demanding as something like Nioh 3). Voice acting / writing is a bit much in places. I've played the other Dragon Age games and enjoyed this one - but I was just looking for a fun game and not necessarily something that was strictly in line with the other Dragon Age games. My only words of advice are don't play as a mage at first, choose rogue or fighter. I normally choose mage type characters but after reading several reviews about classes, I went with fighter at first and I am glad I did. I eventually started a mage on the PS5 version (via PS Plus) and I have enjoyed it but I can see where it would have been frustrating as a first character without any experience with the game.
very good
this game is underrated. Treat it like a good old action rpg and it's actually pretty fun.
Oh God where do I even begin. I played this game through and I can confirm that you get a polished working product for the money you pay, does not crash, stable framerate, game is great to look at when you are looking at places, technically great. Unfortunately the issues is not with the framework of this game but it's swallow substance that should give the backbone of an "RPG". This is not an RPG, you have around one major choice before the very end where you get a plenty more. I feel like that the end was written first as the last 2 hours almost managed to immerse me. Sadly the 55 hours before that failed to do so. Your "choices", the dialogue wheel is complete joke and when something significant needs a choice the games TELLS YOU the consequences. Usually they are just stupid ♥♥♥♥ how your companion feels about a certain topic but still.. I've just recently replayed the Witcher 3 and imagine if every time you are sarcastic ahole with someone it would also have a giant warning attached to it (BE CAREFUL YOU MIGHT HURT THIS RANDOM PEASANTS FEELINGS!!!) Enough rambling I am 2 years late with this witch hunt any way. Pros: - Runs well, optimized - Environments look gorgeous - Last 2 hours of the main story was decent, some characters got decent closure - I guess the combat as a mage can be fun at time, you can get broken real fast - Some bits of lore that expends the Dragon Age universe (Probably also made sure that this franchise will never have a new game) - DA lore nerds only: Visiting Tevinter, Antiva and other major places mentioned in previous games Cons: - Artstyle --> Funko pop characters are just pathetic, looks odd and plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥ - Quanri --> Wtf i am looking at - Darkspawn --> Turned into a generic disneyfied resident evil knock off - Anything that might give this game a rated M category, Make sure no blooooood, it's too edgy we might offend someone - Blatant messaging about issues which were present in previous Bioware game too. There, they were written well, here they make more damage to said cause. - Writing --> Whoever wrote these conversations never spoke with another human being - Plot --> Dumb as f*ck. The only things that worth mentioning is related to Solas the other two whoever are mustache twirling evils.. - Only thing used truthfully from previous dragon ages is the reusing the same area for different quests (DA2 had an excuse it was made under a year...) - Companion quests feel soo random and forced. I am solving a major crisis but my companions blatantly tell me that their personal issues that have nothing to do with the main plot should be solved as well - Combat gets very samey after a while - You can not control your companions - You can not kick out your companions ( Oh I wanted to) - Sometimes I just laughed at serious conversation as I couldn't tell how was this green lit. Great satire though, although I don't think that was the goal. - Where are my choice, and why do you tell me what's going to happen if there is an insignificant one?!!! - Why there are zero conflict between my companions? - Why can't I initiate any conflict with anybody? - Why are my companions behave like 5 years old and Rook is solving their kindergarden problems like a Mommy/Daddy? - Why is this called Dragon Age? Why couldn't you make a new IP and ruin that one instead ? TL;DR : Don't buy this if you are DA fan. It will upset you, not even with a discount. If you know nothing of the previous games than it's just MID as hell, I guess you can buy it if you have nothing better to do?
