Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

good gameplay, bad writing, 7.5/10
Firstly, that we have this game and that it is playable at all is a bit of a miracle. As far as I can tell, Daddy EA really didn't want this game to live, and it shows. This game reminds me strongly of Andromeda and the similar tug-o-war that occurred with the even more disappointing lack of funding, payoff, and vision that came with the cancelling what was to be DLC content. A disturbing and unfortunate trend, writ large across the last 10 years of Bioware. Veilguard isn't the game I wanted it to be, and it is frustrating. There are moments where you can see real potential and the heavyweight story-telling chops behind it, but they are frustratingly and rarely brought to fruition. The Warden background and the Grey Warden sections are the most satisfying parts of the game, by a longshot. The aspects of Tevinter are interesting but ultimately flattened into a Les Miserables-esque parody of what it could be. Our first glance at Navarra is tantalizing, but falters. The factions and their storytelling drop in quality from there. I think by this point, anyone with two brain cells can read reviews and pull the truth out of them. Ultimately, I am reminded of Dragon Age II and its moments of brilliance mixed with substantial shortcomings, again a result from pressures by EA. DA2 similarly had a polarizing change in art style. However, DA2 could still recommend itself on the strength of its writing, complex morality, and the tension that suffuses most of the Dragon Age Series. If I have to pick the greatest sin of Veilguard, it is that the tension in the narrative is gone. Marvels' Veilguard Avengers indeed-- what is left with the big bad defeated? Something across the sea I guess, but the things that kept us in Thedas were always the human concerns of politics, Blight, the Slavery of Mages and Elves, and what are ultimately still the very questions of modern, human concerns. Veilguard forgot this, in the end, and it honestly shows its loss of fandom by the complete dearth of fanfiction compared to the previous three games. I do still recommend this game. It was gorgeous to play, the combat was fun and interesting across two playthroughs, and there was enough to make a meal of it and come back, similarly to DA2. If this is the last Dragon Age, it is an unsatisfying end, but it was entertaining and I will give it that.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Kein Meisterwerk aber zum zocken absolut in Ordnung.
中规中矩吧,吃多了好的,就显得这个比较平庸了
solid.
Storia intrigante, grafica spettacolare. Peccato per il combat system che non è più quello tattico di Origins, e anche per alcune forzature woke senza senso. Comunque un ottimo gioco da giocare.
Im really TORN. They strayed from the formula. The graphcis are great, the gameplay is MEH the entire thing seems just OFF compared to the rest of the franchise. The initial start screen to create was totally off, preparing the party of ONE additional was offputting and I dont know. I just cannot recommend. If somthing in the prior games is NOT broken DONT TRY TO FIX it.
A great game ruined by "your know what" ♥♥♥♥. The graphic is good. The combat system could be the future of real-time teams combat (might already existed in FF7 or something. IDK. never played them) for DND or CRPG.
I saw a lot of content criticizing this game, the people involved in its development, and all the circus built around it. After playing for nearly 60 hours and unlocking all achievements, I can say a few things: Story: The story is acceptable, although there are moments where the writing feels somewhat forced, and the dialogue comes across as monotonous and almost robotic in tone. Agenda / Message: There are many elements tied to a diversity agenda—unnecessary additions targeted at a virtually non-existent audience that, in many cases, isn't even part of the gaming community. Impact on the Studio: This game was a major nail in BioWare's coffin, leading to multiple restructuring processes and layoffs of people who shouldn't have been there in the first place. They allowed their personal bias to bleed into content where it didn't belong. A harsh lesson for game developers. Performance & Bugs: The game is riddled with bugs. I had to reinstall it twice; some save files get corrupted, and there are severe texture rendering issues, among other glitches. Combat: The combat system is barely acceptable. Difficulty & Achievements: The achievements are easy to get. The game never feels challenging; instead, it seems to hand you progression on a silver platter. In short, I played it, 100% completed it, and I have no intention of ever touching it again. If you want to try something different with an open mind, while still keeping a critical eye, go right ahead. It is not a game for everyone. It serves mostly to satisfy your curiosity about how a disaster is built. Let's see what BioWare brings us with Mass Effect 5... Did they actually learn anything from this mess?
