Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

They made a dark, complex, epic series into a Pixar movie. I actively tried to make group members hate me, and they loved me whatever abuse I threw their way. I had no inpact on the story, and the chocies you make has little to no consequences. I can't describe it as anything but a pixar family adventure movie.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wish there was a mixed option I recommend but not strongly The game lacks something that the first 3 games had. Its too artificial, too politically correct and too considerate, the bad guys are too bad and the good guys too good And you make us choose between Kayden and Ashley... again...
Terrible dialog, character models are ugly, gameplay loop is boring and they're pushing a narrative down your throat.
It kills me to do this. It does. I have played and loved the Dragon Age series since DA:O came out. I played that game months after it came out and it blew me away to the point where it is my Favorite Game OF ALL TIME! If I could play one more videogame before I died, it would be DA:O. I have a Dragon Age tattoo. I have played the first three games so many times that, collectively, I probably have over two thousand hours in them. But Dragon Age: the Veilguard? Yeah, I can't recommend this. Let me put it this way: I would play this game in quick bursts. 2-3 hours at the most was what I could stomach. Then, IMMEDIATELY AFTER I quit, I would boot up Skyrim and play for twice as long. I played both games literally in tandem. And now that I think about it, that's the most telling, damning thing I can say about this game. That both games are supposed to be RPGs and one (the most modern) failed so spectacularly at its job that I had to go to the other -- considered one of the BEST RPGs of all time and an absolute dinosaur -- as a kind of palate cleanser. If that doesn't tell you what this game is like, I don't know what will. I don't know how else to explain it. Its a beautiful game. It is. I love the character creation. The fact that I get hands down my favorite character creation in any videogame (outside of the Sims) in one of the worst I've ever played is so damn depressing to me (the body customization itself could have been more in-depth but that's neither here nor there). I liked some of the companions (I would raze entire cities to the ground for Manfred and Assan), hated others, and felt meh about the rest. The romances (of which DA USED to be famous for) were shallow and unimpressive and clearly written by people who have never experienced passion or romance in their entire lives. And the choices? What choices? None of them were well-written and none had any effect on the plot except for the barest of bones. They completely retconned so much of the previous trilogy that this almost -- ALMOST -- feels like a completely separate game. And its so sad that the best parts of this game weren't even made by the devs themselves, they were made by OTHER devs working on the Mass Effect team! This game gets a "hell no" from me. If this is your first entry into the series, you've never played a DA game in your life, then you might like it. You might even love it. But if you're a big fan of the OG games like me, then, chances are, you're going to hate this. REALLY hate this.
This game is absolutely awful - railroaded button-mash crap with no roleplay potential whatsoever.
I love Dragon Age. It's my favourtie fantasy setting of all time. I adored Origins, I learned to love 2, Inquisition was a delight. I read all the books and comics and watches the movies, loved them all. This... This just isn't Dragon Age. The characters from previous games barely resemble themselves, the gameplay is completely diferenct (derogatory), the graphics make everyone look like Fortnite characters, the tone and pacing is completely busted, it simultaneously feels watered down and overdesigned. This is so much worse than Andromeda was for Mass Effect. I'm genuinely heartbroken. I wish I had never even tried to play it, so I could have continued living in the blissful ignorance of "maybe the critics were wrong, this could be a good game". I waited 2 years to play this in hopes that I could separate it from what everyone was saying. But they were right. And now Dragon Age is dead, forever, thanks to EA and this game. 2/10 would never reccommend to anyone, least of all fans of the franchise. What a collossal disappointment.

solid gameplay, but shallow. obnoxiously cringe writing.
