В этой игре плохо абсолютно всё. Начиная с отсутствия настроек, заканчивая скучными уровнями и дизайном. А еще несмотря на то что я прошел немало уровней мне не выдало ни одной положенной ачивки.

Mediocre meat boy clone with interesting physics based gimmicks. Would be a yes if I didn't have to beat World 1 again to get back to World 2

Хорошая картинка, хорошее звуковое сопровождение. LvL дизайн тоже на уровне, причем высоком, за пару часов даже первой очивки не открыл. Чтобы пройти все, мне кажется часов 50 нужно и несколько клав (кстати игра полностью поддерживается моим xBox геймпадом).

Dr. oil is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This Russian shovelware platformer is a basic thematic ripoff of Super Meat Boy, it's a "punishingly difficult" precision platformer that also includes a "die to progress" mechanic that a few other platformers have also used. It's garbage, of course. There's a vaguely comical theme about having to kill a seagull-boy... if only the same amount of effort was put into sincerely trying to make a game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Dr. oil didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for completing the first world, and only around 15 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game, less than half the players. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game only ever reached a peak player count of only 5 players. That's right, only 5... and the worst part is, these 5 concurrent players were just idling the game so they could write their fake reviews (see below). The only genuine player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Dr. oil has an overly optimistic price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, and considering the unethical nature of the developer, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.

A challenging platformer that I really liked. Nice graphics and easy-to-learn controls. Recommend

Др.Ойл хоть и простенький, но весьма хардкорный платформер! Да еще и с поддержкой гейпада! Но вас это все равно нихрена не спасет!!! До капитана чайки ваще реально дойти нет?

Сложный 2d платформер, который заставляет быстро принимать верные решения при прохождении, а любое неверное движение приводит к смерти. Если когда либо пробовали поиграть в боши и вам удалось его пройти — у вас железные нервы и стальные яица, поздравляю. Тут вы можете также проверить себя на прочность и попробовать пройти все преграды и добраться до конца.

В целом это довольно неплохой классический хардкорный 2D платформер, в котором вам придётся постоянно умирать)
