About
“Charge set”, my Alpha Team leader said.
Not knowing what lay in wait for us behind the door, I commanded, “Burn it” into the radio.
“Burning”, he replied. Sliding his finger into the pull ring of the ignition system, he pushed the pin in, turned it a quarter turn, and pulled.
The night was no longer silent as the sound of shredding timber filled the night. Windows shattered and pieces of glass fell to the ground. The walls around me shook. Where a door once stood, only smoke remained. Like water bursting forth from a dam, men flowed into the unknown.

The sequel to the hit tactics game Door Kickers, Task Force North brings you the best portrayal of modern Close Quarters Combat and Tactics in a video game.
Control Special Operation Units in daring raids to rescue hostages, neutralize and capture terrorists in the fictional country of Nowheraki, Middle East.

Top-down tactics with Real Time gameplay but pause-at-will allows you to think, rethink, and still bite your nails as the action happens. And there's no turns, hexes or action points to manage.
The game models deadly threats and techs: suicide bombers, IEDs and Rocket-Propelled Grenades - but gives you tools to dominate: Light Machine Guns for suppressive fire, Night Vision Goggles to own the night and wall breaching charges to open new entry points.
Destructible environment lets you progress through the non-linear levels. If something stands in your way, tear it down! Any strategy is viable.
You can even choose the unit to deploy for any mission:
U.S. Army Rangers - firepower, numbers and skilled, coordinated violence.
CIA Special Activities Division - small unit of Covert Operators, able to go undercover but also deliver surgical strikes when needed.
Nowheraki SWAT - grit, improvised tech and gear borrowed from their US advisors.
It's NOT just skins and weapons, but distinct playing style, abilities and unit doctrines.
Should there be more units? Tell us what YOU think!

Play unique, hand crafted Operations or endless, procedural generated Tours of Duty. Each has their own challenges and rewards. For the bravest, mix it with the optional Iron Man Mode: troopers lost during campaign missions are gone forever.
Dead stays dead*, but memories are forever!
*only in Iron Man mode.

Online Co-Op Multiplayer is available, for up to 4 players. Each player brings his own Squad but you must work together to complete your mission. Choose your gear, draw your plans, strategize and combine your tactical prowess! In the end, you win or lose together.

Door Kickers 2 comes with over 90 handcrafted missions, plus Handcrafted and Generated Campaigns, Random Mission Generator and a Full-blown Mission & Level Editor to create your own content.
And you can share it with the world, or enjoy what others have built: The Steam Workshop already hosts over 7000 missions and is now open for Custom Units, Total Conversions and all sorts of wild stuff our modders are famous for.

With full SteamDeck compatibility and custom touch screen controls, you can play Door Kickers 2 anywhere! Enjoy unparalleled strategical freedom both ingame and in real life!

Reviews
Oh my god! It has been quite sometime since a game has sucked in this 46 year old DILF. Reminds me of the old days of the OG Rainbow Six with the planning and seeing it go down in a positive or negative way. Love the customization and leveling up as well. Check this out all you arm chair rangers.

GOOD
Nice top down game with elements of level destruction, nice unit customization and doctrine progression along with interesting missions editor. Next section contains information someone would consider spoilers as to the who you will have to play as. Few "squads" (sets of units) aka Rangers, CIA, and local SWAT. I'll say rangers is proffesional infantry that will efficently anniilate everything as long as you command them right, swat could use shields and some untraditional methods of police doings like Molotov cocktails, has a lot of soviet weapons, very undersupplied in terms of bodyarmor, and has to rely on specialized demolishers units if you want to blow walls up more efficently :) (though they have rpgs 26) Oh, they also could deploy 1 weak militiaman for the cost of half compared to standard units (x2 infantry!) that will go into the battle with their assault rifle and faith in victory. CIA is made for stealth, not all maps are fit for it, they wont be able to outnumber anything as you given only total of 4 units to deploy, but they can conceal themselves and blend in with civilians, and once upgraded (both doctrine and equipment) will tear things up not worse than rangers. It's important to take enemies out in small portions when playing them, making sure nobody will spot you after since a body and a random civie next to it will definitely bring some unwanted attention. OK That's all. BYE
Do you like tactical games with a bit between mission decisions? If yes get this game. CQB combat with different setups and a moderately wide variety of missions. Gear selection matters. Team comp and starting placement matters. You can play stealthy, go loud, go fast, or be slow and very thorough while clearing the target area. Some missions have civvies, some have hostages, and some just have a pile of bad guys. Gear selection unlocks more tactical options and you can tailor your team for the mission and style of tactics you prefer. If you want to plan it all and then watch it play out you can do that. If you want to stop and start a lot and adjust on the fly you can do that as well. Your personal twitchy skills matter less than your ability to plan and move a group around the map in a manner that doesn't leave people open to ambushes. Anyway watch a few videos and you will either fall in love with this game or pass. If it looks remotely interesting I would expect you to more than get your money's worth out of this game.
