Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 33/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Doom 2016 is definitelly a big step up compared to any previous Doom games. It's a Doom for totally new modern audience. There is plenty to praise, but the game has it's faults, no doubt about that. The weapons don't feel particularry powerful even with max upgrades, which takes the edge of slaying demons, the gameplay is sometimes dull (when you run around not killing demons and no music is playing, you just feel so ordinary). Also it gets quite repetitive by the end since as I mentioned above the weapons feel weak and you are fighting the same enemies in the same pattern (first wave is weaker enemies, second wave are top enemies). But if you like collecting all the secrets and other collectibles, you will have plenty of fun with that, since you have no chance of finding them all on one playthrough. I tried looking for secrets in every level but I found just a few overall, they are hidden way too well (finding collectibles = secrets gets way easier as you upgrade your suit and they are shown on map). P.S. The second playthrough with making all the challenges was more fun, I admit.
DOOM (2016) is one of the best games ever. Every single aspect of this game is expertly made. This game is best known for its combat, which is the most prominent aspect. It is fast, intense, violent, and a lot of fun. I always highly enjoyed it, and never got tired of it. Additionally, it has fantastic animations. Next, there is also excellent exploration. I loved exploring every location, because they are all cool, have secrets (containing items such as weapons, ammunition, and armor), and to uncover more of the story. It all just looks very good, and the game has beautiful graphics. The story is certainly also very good. While it may not be the main focus, and not a lot of time of the campaign is dedicated to the story, I still think it is an important aspect and it is excellently well-written. I was very invested in it. All of these aspects are tied together with very good pacing. In the beginning you only have weaker weapons to fight weaker enemies, and it gradually builds to gameplay with stronger weapons and enemies. This transition, from weak to strong, is structured very well. The locations also feel like they keep getting more expansive and just more impressive, and the story is also well-spread throughout the entire campaign. I was never bored. I absolutely highly enjoyed DOOM (2016), and I would definitely recommend this game to practically anyone.
