Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its a mixed bag, play the original Doom3 not bfg if possible! Reasons why the original is better: * audio is worse in the bfg edition. Guns sund very underwhelming * some subtle visual changes that are also a downgrade (at least for me). * Cut content, level changes. * gameplay changes, bfg is easier. Reasons why bfg is better: * Lost mission is worth playing * Easier to get it to run on modern hardware * Controller support, VR support * archievements

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Doom 3 is a bad doom game which makes it an amazing horror game. Doom 3 is a fantastic game, and gives a different look and feel never seen before in the DOOM franchise. It's slower paced, and more suspenseful. What you lose in action, it picks up in brooding feel and immersion tenfold. A really great (Now) retro horror game that deserves more love. (See you on Super Turbo Turkey Puncher III)
For a game titled "BFG Edition" I expected a lot more... The game isn't bad, it's just "Meh." The controls just feel so sluggish. It's really annoying to try to dodge enemies, since the rooms are narrow, and there's always some junk in the way that blocks you from dodging attacks. On top of that, the enemies typically spawn a few feet from you, so it becomes impossible to parry or block attacks. Frankly, it just gets frustrating with how often you get hit by a demon that quietly spawns right behind you as you blast away at a group of enemies ahead of you. The original Doom games felt like a ballet, where you'd dodge and parry demons. This in contrast feels like I'm constantly slipping on banana peels. Also, it's super monotonous: Walk down dark hallways and shoot demons. The maps all look and feel like basically the same thing, there's not really any style or memorable things to differentiate. The game just feels like one big dark hallway. The levels have no memorable soundtracks, only the creaking of metal and groaning of demons. Even today, the graphics look phenomenal in the BFG Edition. The weapon designs also look awesome, and the reload animations are satisfying. The enemies look stellar - especially the "Hell Knight." But the human character models are absolutely hideous! Everything was totally out of whack when I started the game. The screen resolution, & sensitivity. I tried altering the sensitivity for a controller with no luck whatsoever. Also, this game is not optimized for a controller. To save, load, or enter into the main menu you must use a mouse. It's been a pain in the neck to configure this game and make it comfortable for myself. ~Neutered controller support. ~Lack of any map or objective markers in a HUD. ~Hideous character models. ~Uninspired level design. Doom 2016 really got the ball rolling again, and perfected most things from this game.
You know that Doom 3 is the odd one out already but man... First and foremost, the guns sucks. The shot gun has a damage falloff that is unreal. You essentially have to touch eyeballs with a demon for it to do damage. The grenades are useless as you just walk through tight corridors. The only one I enjoy is the chain gun and there is not much ammo for it after a bit. Oh, and the flashlight! The game is quite dark (it is intended as a horror game!) and the light lasts about as long as the average billionaire not thinking about going to a particular island. All that would actually be bearable if the enemy spawning wasn't as well designed as a Tod Howard game. Even if you cleaned out a room you will still be assaulted by something from there way too often. The game gets better towards the end when you have plenty of ammo for your powerful weapons though. Thus I am changing to a tentative (=discounted) yes (especially good since this also contains Doom and Doom II).
(I just bought this on steam and I have played a lot of it so don't take my .1 hours as actual time played lol) I hate how people say this game is bad just because it is different than the other doom games, because this one is slower paced, but IMO, this is the best doom game right after 2016
I didn't me favorite game, i finally know the answer.
