Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game gets a lot of hate for not being a frantic mess like the previous games. And fair enough, that is what made them fun. It's what makes the rebooted series good too, but this is a game that stands on its own merit. It is a much slower and deliberate game. More a mix of Doom and Resident Evil than just a straight up Doom sequel. It may not feel like Wolfenstein on speed in Hell, but it has a charm all its own, and is well worth playing even now.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I can only think I suffered some kind of brain fart when I bought this again, at least it was very cheap. Thought my memories of how bad Doom 3 is must have exaggerated over the years. Apparently not. Enter a room, some things will spawn, or appear in impossible locations (fair enough for the demonic but how the hell are those possessed humans appearing in some of these places? The first couple of times these might even qualify as jump-scares. After the third or forth room none of it's scary as it's exactly the same EVERY TIME) Shoot them with your underwhelming guns with the slowest reload animations of any game ever made Repeat You have now played the whole game. You can see everything this poor effort has to offer in 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Wonder at how a military organisation can only supply you with a torch that lasts 15 seconds. Even by 2004 the contrivance of a limited mobile light source made absolutely no sense. Wonder at how someone on the creative team thought zooming into the back of your own head from cutscenes was a good idea (smooth transition? No idea what they were thinking with that) The story's the usual and not delivered in an interesting manner so there's no need to carry on for that. I didn't realise in 2004 how limp the voice acting was. Silent, subtitled dialogue would improve this game's atmosphere. The map is bland and rubbish; nondescript locations one after another mean the entire game may as well take place in about three interconnected rooms. I understand Doom, Doom2 and Ultimate Doom are in here to play. Play those, don't touch this waste-of-time greasy-bin-juice of a game. In SP, anyway. Can't comment on MP.
I finished Doom 3, and honestly, at least for me, the experience was pretty boring. The atmosphere is definitely dark and the game tries to focus a lot on horror and tension, but after a while everything becomes very repetitive. You walk through dark corridors, the lights go out, a demon appears, and that cycle repeats for most of the game. The graphics were very good for its time and the atmosphere is quite well done, but the gameplay didn’t really hook me. The pacing felt slow compared to other games in the series, and the fights aren’t as intense as I expected. Overall, I understand why some people appreciate it for the horror atmosphere, but for me it wasn’t something that kept me glued to the screen. After a few hours it started to feel pretty monotonous.
the imps in doom 3 are really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scary so i dont know if i can play doom 3. But doom 3 has carmacks reverse which is pretty hot. also its another way to play classic doom and doom II.
bang on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend this game.
