Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is terrible, I keep getting impbushed from behind walls that shouldn't even open to begin with and are only there to "surprise" you. The only tactic they do to actually make this game give you any sort of "scare factor" is putting enemies behind doors that you can't dodge unless you already know they're there. This game is ♥♥♥♥.
Game wont start at all.

Doom 3: BFG in 2026 feels very outdated, no doubt about that. I don't care that it's a different style of game than the previous Doom games, I am not a particular fan of this series so I don't wear nostalgia glasses. Doom 3 is straight up horror in space, which is totally fine, but unfortunatelly it's not good horror game. I remember when I played the original Doom 3 not long after it came out and it definitelly had much better horror atmosphere considering the fact you had to actually use the flashlight instead of a weapon, but that was also very limiting factor (in the BFG edition you simply press F and use it with any weapon equipped). Unfortunatelly the game (at least now) is not scary at all if you are not 12 year boy. It uses the cheapest types of scares like creature standing behind the door you open and there it is, ready to jump on you. This happens so many times it was annoying more than anything. The combat itself is really boring, because the weapons feel weak and unbalanced. Shotgun is really strong when you shoot someone from 5 inches away, but sometimes even that doesn't one shot enemies. You have really huge arsenal of weapons but for example the rocket launcher and BFG are not really usable most of the time, because enemies rush to your face and the the game design with tiny spaces doesn't really invite you to use explosive weapons, because you only end up killing yourself. Which brings me to game design - that lives and dies on darkness. Dark darkness. You have to use your flaslight all the time, because enemies are almost invisible without you shining light on them. And then they randomly spawn behind you without making any sound, or they simply come from the walls where they wait patienty behind panels untill you trigged them. What else doesn't really work? - When you empty your magazine, the weapons don't automatically reload. You have to either press R or keep shooting to reload. - Not even enemies want you dead, leaders too. You can't turn around while climbing a leader, otherwise you will fall. - There is just one sound setting. Yes, one. You can set up volume. That is it. You want dialogs or music to be louder? Too bad. This leads to situations where you want to listen to message on your portable tablet, but there are always ambient sounds so you have to listen very carefully and filter your surroundings. At one point I was listening to audio message, but then some guy I found started talking to me and audio message from screen not far away was playing so it was a total mess. I just had to press mute. - Soldiers are the worst enemies of them all. If they shoot you, your cursour starts shaking like crazy and you CAN NOT aim at anything. This is to simulate you being hurt, but it totally breaks the combat. You simply have to run away so you can go back and try kill the soldiers again. Same thing when demons hit you on melee. Your camera just shakes violently so you have no idea where you are in time and space so you can't aim at all. - The Hell level is criminally underused. You spend like half an hour there and simply teleport back to the boring base on Mars. - Boss fights are very very simple. Just aim and shoot. Any positives? - It's short :) About 10 hours or so. - You can do achievements so you have more reasons to play.
TL,DR: A nice package of Doom 3 with slightly improved visuals, both DLCs, and the classic Doom I and Doom II thrown in for fun (with Steam achievements). Great horror game, not a great Doom game. I've played the original Doom 3 when it was released, and remember being slightly underwhelmed, same as many from the gaming community seemed to have been back then. Having played it again now, I can say this: It's a tremendously underrated game... but it's not a great Doom game. The first two Doom games were all about fast-paced non-stop adrenaline-pumping visceral action, and so is Doom 2016 and Dark Ages. Doom 3 is a horror game, built around suspense, jump-scares and fear. For most of the game, you don't feel like a hero. And it's great and I loved it now in 2026, but I can see how some Doom fans wouldn't. The visuals still look great unless you get too close (ironically, same as it was with the first two games), and I still think id Software's shaders are the best ever made by humanity - I've yet to see a game by another studio which looks so solid and heavy. Most other games look made out of painted cardboard - this one's made of steel. Also, the amount of work which went into sound design here is just mind-blowing. The game barely has a soundtrack, but the ambient sounds alone are enough to keep you on your toes and immersed. This is an audio masterpiece. The DLCs, however, I found lacking. Resurrection of Evil closes the main story arc, but both new mechanics it introduces fell more like a "me, too" nod towards The Matrix/Max Payne and Half-Life 2. And the new enemies are only be there for the new mechanics to make sense. The Lost Mission I liked a bit better, but it's unfortunate how it makes you revisit a lot of locations from the main game and RoE (which is fine), but completely disregards the timeline from both. This is most obvious where you find the double-barrel shotgun, but you already know it's supposed to be picked up by the protagonist of RoE in at the same spot later, and it's still there in that DLC.
te juzgaron para el culo, señor juegazo, es un Half-Life pero de Doom, lejos de ser malo es buenisimo, lastima que me quede atrapado porque soy un maricon que le da miedo y asco las arañas
