If a long lost arcade game from 1983 resurfaced today, it would be Donut Dodo - a classic 2D platformer from the golden era, tough as nails and challenging for the whole family! Ready to top the high score table?
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

@pixel games SARL-S: Guys, the only thing that *really* disappointed me was not to see the beautiful hires overlay-artwork from the Exa Arcadia release --- Please think about updating the Desktop-releases *PLEASE* !!!!! The only other things I don't like are that you can't stop on the horizontal ropes or on the ladders, but that might be intended, you never know. Menus: A "Full Screen/WIndowed" entry would be nice and the keyboard-config should really be editable. But the game is fun, the music is great and the collision-checks are fair. It isn't easy, but OK so far (Played 23 minutes and reached the fourth screen).
I absolutely love this game. I was late to the NES/Famicom, and enjoyed discovering the single screen Nintendo arcade conversions of the coin op cabinets like Donkey Kong Jr and Popeye, and this game captures that essential hardcore gameplay. The colours are bright but never intruding, the music is utterly brilliant and fits the game perfectly. I played this non stop on the flight to Gamescom last year (I have it on several devices). Well worth the 7 quid. I mean c'mon, that's the cost of a beer in a fancy bar! You'll get far more enjoyment from this game!

Who remembers chuckie egg ? This is kind of the spiritual successor to one of the greatest 8-bit computer games ever made. Single player only but don't let that put you off, jump, climb and collect the smaller donuts, all while avoiding the enemies and the HUGE DODO of course. Manage to collect all of them without dying and its time to grab that BIG HUGE DONUT, watch out as the big dodo wont let you get it easily! This is super tough, I mean seriously hard as nails, the vinnie Jones of platformers, you will die, you will lose, you will restart , you will swear, you will swear some more, but one thing will always be certain, YOU WILL HAVE SO MUCH FUN! Unless of course you cant handle the difficulty, sadly this wont be for everyone but each to their own! Retro gamers, especially older retro gamers will lap this up, yes its insanely hard and it took me 20+ attempts or more just to finish the first level, I still haven't finished the easy levels yet, that's how tough this is. I would have liked some extra life options and a level select but sadly none of these are included. With its charming, colourful, retro graphics and a tune that will probably drive most people up the wall, Donut Dodo is a fiendishly hard, super fun, crazy retro arcade game, if you can handle the challenge, love retro games, grab it now and go collect your donuts!
