Don't Die, Collect Loot

So far, color me addicted. I'm a huge ARPG nerd and this one is clearly a passion project, somehow perfectly melding the addictive survivors gameplay with meaningful loot and skill upgrades. Kind of a steal at $10, I just picked it up today on sale for $7 and already dumped 3 hours into it. A hidden gem for sure. For those wanting a deeper picture - it's very much a loot driven game. You select your skills and synergies a-la diablo 2, but the crafting and loot is heavily path of exile inspired, including the crafting. And on top of that, the graphics and pace of play are similar to chronicon. It starts relatively basic at first, but within my 3 hours I can already see the depth and I only expect it to grow from here. If you like at least one of those titles (Chronicon, POE, D2), this is worth a look. For the dev - I would include LOOT in the tags, it's one of my go to filters in steam. Might even go as far as to say change it from RPG to ARPG.

Крайне рекомендую данную игрушку! Русского языка конечно нет, но и это не проблема - я считаю лично. Пока сижу на одном персе, как закончу с ним, думаю пойти на других. Рекомендую особенно тем, кто любит капаться в залутанных вещах, сверять и сравнить циферки урона, и любит строить разные билды на разных персах, каких здесь много, а в 2026 добавят и больше (по крайне мере разраб так обещает, а он один - герой). Опять же рекомендую!

Surprisingly enough an incredible title. Sounds that keep you hooked(literally) Gameplay which keeps you engaged Crafting that makes you think A loop that has you coming back for more and... a price at which you might aswell give it a shot. Oh and it probably runs on a toaster. Nah seriously, if you have any interest at all in ARPG's & Loot give it a go. It's a steal for 10€

This game is such a good time and can be played in multiple ways. You can just coast on lower difficulties with no level mods and collect loot and chill, or kick up to spicy mode and pay to add ways to make the levels more difficult to enjoy more of a challenge for better rewards. The loot and crafting system is fun to use

This game has significant depth! It feels like it was made for people who enjoy the ADHD addled gameplay of POE and Diablo where you wipe screens with one button, but don't enjoy grinding for hours to get to that point. Don't Die, Collect Loot is very straightforward, but doesn't lack customizability and has very fast and almost infinite upward progression. One screen that scrolls, and you need to wipe the screen before the enemies kill you. You can adjust screen scrolling speed with pre-run options using gold, and can play a run for as long as you want! Gear enchanting, big skill trees, and gem slotting that makes your runs very unique. It's seriously impressive and deceptively deep. Don't pass this one over because it looks like just another bullet heaven Survivors-like. It is truly its own thing and deserves a try from anyone who enjoys good games!

Awesome ARPG looter with an insane amount of loot. Its way more fun to play than watch. Feels like a complete game as is. On person storage of 999 pages of loot (yes insane) Harder than it looks in the videos. Meta progresion, skills, loot, leveling up loot. (It goes deep daddy) (crafting for better loot) This is sweet, its hard to compare it to others as it does all its own things very well. I believe "dont die and collect loot" will start a sub genre and influence a bunch of clones and copycats.

Survivors-Like meets ARPG? Great concept, and beautifully delivered. At the time this is written, the game is in early access. The initial premise is promising, and the game continues to deliver on that promise as I keep coming back to play more. This game has a lot of heart, and you can tell the care that has gone into the little details of the game. The game is in development by a solo-dev, and I think their attention to detail and responsiveness has been second-to-none. If the gameplay having an extremely satisfying loop wasn't enough, the Discord for the game honestly feels a lot like being on the ground-floor for a cult classic being born. What a great, novel experience all-around.

Pretty fun game. A bite sized poe for some mindless fun.
