YES! Works well on SteamDeck. I personally have not been able to join an online game, but single player is pretty fun.
one of the most in depth character tutorials I've ever seen and it has 2 buttons. Karate Champ / Footsies with much more depth Sumo mirrors are basically it's own game within the game
Limitations in gameplay can be a breeding ground for creative solutions by the developers and players. Bold games like this give me hope for the future of fighting games.

Dojo Masters is a standout fighting game that delivers fast, deep, and highly technical gameplay. The combat system is layered with complex mechanics that reward precision, timing, and strategic thinking. Every fight feels meaningful, and mastering the mechanics is both challenging and incredibly satisfying. It’s the kind of game where skill truly matters, and the depth keeps you coming back for more. The graphics are equally impressive. The vibrant visuals, sharp character designs, and fluid animations make every match visually exciting. The presentation enhances the intensity of the fights and makes even small exchanges feel impactful. If there’s one way the game could reach absolute perfection, it would be by expanding the martial arts roster even further. Adding styles like Sambo, Judo, Kung Fu, Pro-Wrestling, Lucha Libre, Savate, and perhaps even Vale Tudo would introduce even more diversity in techniques and strategies. With the game’s already rich mechanics, incorporating those disciplines could elevate it to legendary status. Overall, Dojo Masters is a must-play for fans of deep, competitive fighting games. Fast, complex, and visually striking — it’s an experience well worth diving into.
I occasionally search Steam for realistic sumo games. As far as I can tell, this (with DLC) is as good as it gets, and it's surprisingly good! Karate Champ and Bushido Blade are among my all-time favorite fighters. I never expected sumo in this format, but it's a fantastic discovery.
great & fun game.
Extremely dope game. Core fighting game mechanics
the children yearn for neutral. so refreshing to play in the age of drive rush and heat.
Phenomenal true 2D fighting game. The depth and nuance is incredible. Each character is a whole, contained archetype in and of itself. If you're making an indie fighting game, this is how it should feel and play like. Let's see what else. The training system puts Harada to shame, what with the amount of customization, recording options, frame/input data etc. Just get it if you're a 3rd Strike fan.
Amazing game. Not without issues/bugs/loading problems, but I have so much fun with friends and family. I spent a couple years in Brazil so I had to get the expansion pack for the Capoeira, and it's so sick. I can't imagine there is any person who buys this game and can't find some way to have fun.
