DMD Mars Mission

Stand in place wave shooter with a Doom styled Mars theme but with underwhelming enemies and weapons. A little expensive for what it is and can get very repetitive fast. Pity more thought was not given to better-looking enemies and more fun game play. Best for arcades where this type of game to non-VR owners may enjoy. If you have many of the other stands in place wave shooters then you're not missing anything new with this one. Recommended only for those who enjoy stand in place wave shooters and may enjoy the Mars atmosphere. Not recommended for everybody else.

El segundo juego en VR mexicano de la historia!! no es perfecto, tiene ciertos fallos pero me gusta para pasar al rato :)

Me gustaron las explosiones al estilo Michael Bay, hahaha Al principio está fácil pero después se pone bien perro, y eso que lo jugé en modo fácil. El doblaje en español se agradece Aunque las explosiones cuando están cerca, no te deja ver donde vienen los enemigos, en general está chido!!

Nice FX explosions everywhere wohooo, good level design and graphics and made it by a team of 2? Great Job!! More weapons for the next game please.

Juego bastante mediocre comparado con lo que se puede encontrar en la VR hoy en día. Las armas tiemblan continuamente aunque tenga las Oculus Rift con 3 satélites, es algo que solo me ocurre con aquellos juegos que no están bien pulidos en VR. Otro aspecto que no me ha gustado para nada es la curva de dificultad. El juego es absurdamente fácil y en el último tramo del juego se pone ridículamente difícil. Bastante mediocre. Y por último mencionar que en el juego vas siempre con 2 armas, una pistola en la mano isquierda y un arma automática en la derecha, pues bien, podéis pasaros el juego únicamente usando el arma de la mano derecha porque la pistola es totalmente inútil. Como aspecto positivo, pues es un juego en el que matas bichos y....mmmmm disparas. Eso sí, la animación de apretar el gatillo no existe, así que os la tendréis que imaginar xD

Visually, in parts, very good (although the aliens look weird), but still just an extremely uninspired wave shooter. the AI is non existent (straight line to the player) , the angle of the weapons is super awkward with a Vive, and considering the (lack of) AI the only challenge lies in timing (automatic) reloads so that you don't run out of ammo until the next wave hits you.

Not even worth your time. Two guns, you just hold down the triggers the whole time and nothing else to do. This is one of the worst VR wavw shooters I have played. Just skip it.

“Is this going to be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?" In the case of DMD Mars Mission, it’s another bug hunt. Nothing new or particularly exciting here, but nothing terrible either. Environments are pretty neat, the aliens themselves are good too but with real odd glowing crystals on them that seem out of place. The voice acting is amusingly poor – constant one-liners and flirty banter between our hero and a voice that teleports him from location to location. Game play itself is very straightforward – shoot aliens that come in from one of a few directions, manage your reloads so you’re not caught without ammo at an inopportune time. No upgrades or new weapons from what I could tell. Not too long, I finished it in just under an hour. I wouldn’t recommend it at full asking price, but I got it for a steal via a game bundle, and am happy with it for the price I paid. Thumbs: UP!

Yes, I agree with some of the other reviews, it is a basic wave shooter, enemies have a set path, so no AI, and only two guns. BUT, I have thoroughly enjoyed may last half hour of playing the game, and I plan on playing all the way through after posting this review. I nearly didn't bother playing it because of the bad reviews, I don't think I would pay full price for it, but if it is on sale, then I'd say it is worth a go.
