Divinity: Dragon Commander

Jetpack Dragon is an awesome concept. Sadly not executed well.

Werid game. Dragons with jetpacks. Im a rts guy and I struggled very hard with the first battle and the mechanics on normal mode. If you dont spend constantly, you lose the fight. The computer doesnt pull punches. The game has tons of potential to be good so im gonna keep playing it. Defiently not a begginer rts game. Im gonna try easy mode. Had to look up a guide for story mode cuz it was very confusing. Very werid game but the graphics look good and the gameplay is interesting. I got the game for sale for like 5 dollars. I think just the dragon with a jetpack makes it worth it.

7/10 - GOOD. Well made mix of table-top turn based strategy and real time strategy missions. The characters are funny and hilarious to interact with. Your choices on each turn have a visible impact on your game in all aspects. Starting from political decisions with your counsel, troop movement and battle choices. Divinity games have a unique feel because of their lore and setting, this game manages to continue the tradition and even enhance it.

I absolutely love this game! a cross between RTS, turn based strategy, political-sim, dating-sim, with a fire breathing flight simulator just smacked on top. a must play for all nerds.

Nice game, i wish i would play this on hard instead of normal, as there was a breaking point in campaign from which it was just all too easy, but thats my problem. Tactical part is nice, except if you are trying to move any decent amount of troops trough transports. RTS part is also nice, decent amount of units and skills they got with upgrades makes them unique and interesting, its only a shame that you usually dont use them much as you are flying around in dragon form most of the time, autocast option at least for some of them would be nice Empire manager between the rounds is mighty fun at times (except for crazy femi-nazi, they could leave that one out imo) Overall its interersting mix of a game, certailny not goty material, but i had a blast going trough it.

It's an okay game. But it had the potential to be so much better. I like the political aspect of the game but the RTS battle I found very lacking. It's very different from the other games in the divinity series. 6/10
