Divekick is the world’s first two-button fighting game. It distills the essence of the fighting game genre into just two buttons with no d-pad directional movement. Includes two extra playable characters: Fencer from Nidhogg and Johnny Gat from Saints Row!

Is this the next competitive esport? Nope Is this a game you and your friends can play to goof around and have a blast for hours? 100% yes. If you're in the FGC you need to play this once at least with your community or friend group :)
Divekick is soo much fun to play, even now. But mostly when playing with another friend. It is a great game to introduce fighting games and the story mode is also fun to play through.... Unfortunately to get all the achievements you'll need a very cool friend you can ask to play all the matches with. Still great tho :)
Divekick is exactly what it sounds like: a 2D fighting game where your main (and basically only) move is a divekick. Two buttons, one-hit rounds, first to five wins. It’s all about spacing, timing, and mind games. The concept is funny and surprisingly tense at first. Matches are quick, and the over-the-top tone doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s a cool idea and definitely different from traditional fighters. But once the novelty wears off, there isn’t much left to dig into. The character stories feel more like goofy extras, and the online scene is pretty much dead now, so you’ll mostly be fighting bots or playing locally. Fun as a joke or party game, but hard to recommend unless you’ve got friends to play with.
