Disaster Arms - Impact Project B.A.H.N.

Once again PD_CGT makes a gorgeous game with great storytelling, very fun even going through just one casual playthrough since im the type of person that doesnt really have the patience or attention span to keep replaying an arcade game. Skill issue on my part. but this to say it was very much worth it even on the one playthrough. keep up the amazing work.

Treasure is an impossibly difficult act to follow up on, so while it may seem backhanded that a lot of the conversation surrounding Disaster Arms includes talk of their classic Alien Soldier, the fact the comparison is being made positively in the first place is top shelf praise. Kickass game, especially for those who love action platformers not in the Mega Man vein.

gotta appreciate something that feels minimal but still loud, with a voice, while also being Cool, swagged up with the sauce etc

Great. Captures the fun of Sin and Punishment (N64) in 2D.

The dev said to leave a review so I'm here. I do plan on tackling this game more on its harder difficulties. It's like an Alien Soldier style game. It's a boss rush with some enemies in between.

The artstyle is probably the most attention-grabbing feature of this game, and yeah, the game 100% delivers in that regard. The world, character designs and cutscenes look like they came straight from an artist's sketchbook. But even if you ignore the visuals, Disaster Arms is a very memorable experience thanks to its story, fun gameplay and many creatively designed bosses. This and the other game in the "Treasure-like" bundle, Candy Rangers, are true hidden gems!
