Reviews
Overall: good good A few extra thoughts: -The camera system definitely needs some work. It's way too zoomed in, making it hard to see your surroundings. -Exploration feels incredibly cluttered. It would be a massive QoL improvement if the developers added an option to shrink your Digimon or make them invisible while roaming. -Digifarm (as is) is quite lame. looking forward to the next game --yet another thief egg review

awesome for digimon fans
Enjoyable game
This was one of the best in the Story series of Digimon Games, if not the best. But damn, Agent levels gating my ability to get to my favorites early suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Then there's the scoffed distribution of sidequests, that okay, if you do all of them as they open up, you can get to megas by the time you do your final travel to the human world. Hours later during the endgame a bajillion of sidequests to pop up when they could've appeared far earlier but didn't for reasons?? This game suffers from bad pacing, but the characters can carry some of it to make one not notice it as much. Also while digiattacks were a good addition for quick clears of trashmons for scan % it's a double edged blade because exploration becomes boring after a while. I counted 5 times i doozed off and slept because I wasn't being stimulated with normal fights, maybe random encounters would've been better. The game is also incredibly easy, even on hard for people with some jrpg experience. Thanks to accel boosting being targetable now, and character reversal being usable on the player's party and only only at the enemies. I don't remember having much trouble with anything in the entire game because of that, I didn't get to mega. Anyways, it was a quality digimon game for what it wanted to do and far better than the story games on the ds, i recommend it.
It's always good to see a yet another Digimon game. Good on Steam Deck!
This game is a VERY nice time killer, only go in if you have excess time to do so.
