I bought Diery Heaven and it took up to the ten minute mark before I had an idea on who this game was designed for and maybe another ten to fully confirm that theory. Diery Heaven is a secret fetish game for sadomasochists and I know that because I'm pretty sure completing it makes me one of them. At minimum I'm an unpaid intern. At numerous points I was ready to tear my hair out and it hurt so good. Diery Heaven is a game that costs less than two bucks and feels like one of those things you put together as a final project at a game dev boot camp. It consists of five jumping puzzles and I use the term puzzle in the loosest sense. Essentially you are making precision jumps over a variety of moving and stationary platforms and dodging barrels that fall from the sky. It's funny that the game advertises itself as a calming experience because I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this stressed while playing such a simple indie video game. There's no time limit or score or competition to speak of, but Diery Heaven ramps up the stress levels by making each section tough as nails. It doesn't help that the controls are somewhat inconsistent, your character's interaction with the environment is rough, and things move way too fast. Diery Heaven is one of those games that is going to frustrate you until the puzzle clicks and you figure out how to work around the systems. And then it'll infuriate you as every fall sends you back to the start. I honestly have a lot of respect for the creator ThroneLab because despite the minimalist style you can tell that a fair amount of thought went into each section. First person platformers are difficult to pull off and Diery Heaven makes this easier by letting you see your body which helps in precision landing. Movement even in the air is pretty precise except during the massive spinning staircase bit and ultimately four of the five sections are quite gratifying to finally conquer. You want to stand up and give your computer double middle fingers just to reinforce that you beat it. The last stage isn't good, and I'm not entirely sure that this method is what the developers had in mind. But it worked, and I did it my way. So tough cookies. I took about 50 minutes to beat the game and that doesn't include the time I spent punching the wall and throwing every curse word in the dictionary at my computer. By the end of it I had a splitting migraine but an odd sense of satisfaction and several potentially fractured knuckles. For two dollars you can have some fun with a short game that doesn't expect anything further from you in return. There's a paper thin plot in there somewhere that could fit on the back of a Kraft Dinner box and who cares. Check it out. I give it a B- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcZDliw_7FE&feature=youtu.be

DIERY HEAVEN is more or less an Unreal Engine asset flip, it's a bunch of Unreal Marketplace assets slapped together Digital Homicide style into a minimum viable product 3D platformer. If you take this seriously (my advice is don't), it's a very poorly made and clunky platformer using the basic Unreal FPS engine so you can run and jump around over the poorly arranged Unreal Marketplace assets. You're supposed to jump up 4 different towers (at least at the start of the game, I didn't get much further into it once I realised I was just playing Unreal Marketplace: The Game). The platforming is clunky and imprecise. There's not much in the way of penalty for falling down etc, you just have to start again, which makes this apparently "casual", but no matter how many tags you apply to a trashpile, it's still gonna be made of trash. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. There's also a blurry filter over everything due to general incompetence managing the basic Unreal Engine, and with no graphics tweaks, you can't fix this problem. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. The game contains stock/store assets and other packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. While this isn't necessarily against the license for the use of those assets, claiming the work of others as your own is highly unethical. Gamers should be made aware when a developer behaves unethically, as buying games from unethical developers puts the gamers money at risk. Remember, this developer took other people's work, put his own name on it, didn't credit them, and is trying to get your money for it. DIERY HEAVEN has the completely unrealistic cash grab price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the questionable ethics of the developer.
This game is very annoying as it is first person so you can not easily judge to land on platform. To make it difficult , developer has just increased the speed of platforms and if you fall lots of time from platform. Second thing is that game does not shows any goal so you can not decide where to start and what to do. I have watch gameplay video prior to playing game so it somewhat helped me. So as per my opinion just avoid this game.
Is it supposed to be calming or is it supposed to be raging? it's fairly confusing. one sure thing is that i raged quit for good. it's like a fairy/dreamy ambiance with some annoying jumps and hovers over rocks and unity/unreal paid assets. i don't recommend
It definitely does what it says it does. The music and environment is very relaxing. The gameplay however, is anything but relaxing. I know there are people out there who thrive on difficult parkour, but I am not one of them. At the current price, if you are into rage games, then yes! https://youtu.be/CKl6zIOlbJI
About
A simpl.... HOW IS THIS SIMPLE! ITS QUITE HARD OK~
What I like
- short game (i finished this in 1 hour) - i stream this and viewers just laugh when i keep falling from obstacles.
What I don't like like
- there's one obstacle i can't climb up the normal way as i'm unable to find the trick and had to find creative way to pass it - no achievements for completing the game - "E" practically didn't do anything though it said to press E to interact
Others
Game was stream on https://twitch.tv/execell_is_here on 11-Sep-2021. Alot ppl finds it entertaining to hear my screams. I'm not kidding here

A nice little platform jumping game with a relaxing soundtrack and pleasing graphics. If you a cheap puzzle game get it now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxlEdJx1CG4&t=98s
