From Earth To Heaven

From Earth to Heaven is a bland and at times frustrating and disorienting first-person platformer. There's only one powerup that let's you do one jump in midair. Sometimes it's not clear where you're supposed to be going and the very excessive bloom doesn't help. The bloom sometimes makes the jump powerups invisible. Obstacles only show up near the end and are extremely easy to avoid, I mean did the dev even try? And I swear one of the levels is unbeatable. Did I mention that the mouse sensitivity is tried to frame-rate? Or that vsync option is dependent on the graphics preset? Or that there's no rebindable keys? Only buy if you want easy achievements. You only have to start the first sub-level in every level once, which you can do in a couple of minutes.

Что я могу сказать, красивая игра, интересный геймплей, понравилось музыкальное сопровождение, но есть у этой игры одно "НО", фильтры/свечение, очень тяжело глазам, может быть это особенность моих глаз, но вот как-то так. Короче, пришлось помучить глаза, но в целом я остался доволен. 10-1 глаз/10!

Игра очень атмосферная: будто попал в какой-то странный сон, где просто идёшь вверх, смотришь на мир и немного размышляешь о жизни. Визуал прям радует глаз, всё такое мягкое и сюрреалистичное, а музыка отлично дополняет это ощущение спокойствия. Геймплей простой, но в этом есть изюминка, что он не напрягает. Можно просто расслабиться и идти вперёд, иногда решая лёгкие загадки. В целом очень приятный и необычный опыт. Не для всех, но если любишь атмосферные инди - стоит попробовать.

If you're into first-person platformers, this game offers a solid challenge with some unique aesthetics. The movement and the "floaty" physics fit the theme well, but the execution feels unfinished in key areas. The Cons: No Ultrawide Support: The game is poorly optimized for high-end displays. At 3440x1440p, the screen is letterboxed with black edges, which is disappointing for a modern release. Broken Death Triggers: The restart mechanic is inconsistent. Specifically in Level 1, falling off a platform often doesn't trigger the death screen correctly, leaving you in a bit of a limbo. It's a rewarding journey for fans of the genre, but the developers need to patch these optimization issues to make it truly playable for everyone.
