Die Wolf

Die Wolf Archery VR erinnert stark an Bogenschießen in The Lab (getestet mit der Valve Index) Das Spielprinzip ist recht simpel, wir stehen auf einer Plattform und schießen auf die bösen Wölfe die unsere Häuser zerstören wollen. Dazu spannen wir einfach den Bogen, die Pfeile spawnen automatisch. Für abgeschossene Gegner erhalten wir natürlich Punkte. Zusätzlich können wir unseren Highscore verbessern, indem wir z.B. Fledermäuse abschießen oder vom Gegner gedropte Münzen. Auch mehrer Treffer in Folge werden belohnt. Zerstören die Wölfe unsere Eigenheime ist die Runde beendet, um das zu verhindern können wir zwischenzeitlich auf Ballons schießen um die Energieanzeige unserer Gebäude wieder aufzufüllen. Im späteren Verlauf kommen auch noch gepanzerte Gegner die wir mit mehreren Teffern erledigen müssen, oder auch mal ein Wolf der uns persönlich attackiert. Zielen klappt mit etwas Übung ganz gut, lediglich haptisches Feedback vermisse ich hier, das hat mir bei The Lab besser gefallen. Fortbewegung ist nicht vorgesehen, wir stehen lediglich auf unserer Plattform und erledigen die Gegner vor uns. Die Grafik ist ganz in Ordnung und passt zum Geschehen, allerdings auch nicht übermäßig berauschend. Zur Zeit stehen uns 8 Wellen bei Tag zur Verfügung, bewältigen wir diese schaltet sich der Nachtmodus mit 8 weiteren Wellen frei, damit ist der Umfang nicht wirklich groß. Unseren Highscore können wir mit dem Rest der Welt über ein Scoreboard vergleichen. Das Spiel läuft flüssig, Bugs oder ähnliches sind mir nicht aufgefallen. Es macht auch durchaus Spaß von daher gebe ich mal einen Daumen rauf, allerdings gilt die eingeschränkte "Kaufempfehlung" nur für Leute, die Bogenschießen in The Lab schon ausgiebig gezockt haben und einfach einen Clon davon ausprobieren wollen, alle anderen schaut euch lieber das Gratisspiel an, es ist auf keinen Fall schlechter. Die Wolf von TOMATOVR ist ein Pfeil und Bogen Wave-Shooter mit Wölfen, alle Feinde sind Wölfe. Es gibt keine speziellen Pfeile wie Blitz, Feuer oder Eis oder irgendwelche Fallen, wie sie in anderen VR-Bogenschießspielen vorkommen. Die Gegner bestehen ausschließlich aus Wölfen, mal mit oder ohne Rüstung. Für jüngere VR-Spieler könnte Die Wolf aufgrund der niedlichen Grafik evtl. interessant sein. Allerdings unterstützt Die Wolf nur Rechtshänder. Mit den Vive-Wands ist das kein Problem, die kann man einfach wechseln, aber z.B. Index-Controller funktionieren in Die Wolf nur für Rechtshänder. This is 180 standing bow & arrow wave shooter. All the enemies are wolves that you must shoot to protect the houses and yourself. While the enemy remains the same, some wolves have armor and others have cannons that increase the difficulty. You'll have to shoot them down quickly & accurately as well as determine target priority to get past the waves. The game does start easy enough. There's health balloons you can shoot for yourself or the houses. You can also shoot flying bats or balloons or coins for bonus points. You do have to keep your head on a swivel as wolves will come from all areas 180 degrees in front of you. I was only able to get to level 7 after about 1 hour of play. There is physical stamina component to this as your hand will get tired from aiming the bow & arrow at targets. If you quit, all your progress resets. Even if you don't quit, the checkpoints aren't exactly generous. While there is a steady difficulty curve as you progress in the waves, it seems that level 7 is perhaps a tad too difficult. I was #2 on the leaderboards and only second by a few points, so it seems there is no recorded history of someone getting past level 7. While the game is good for what it is, there just isn't enough here. The game is completely mediocre. There aren't any special arrows like lightning, fire, or ice or any traps like there are in other archery VR games. The enemy variety also isn't the best. There's just much better archery games in VR like Twisted Arrow, Sacralith, or In Death. I know this game is budget priced, but I would imagine it would only appeal to families with kids. [b]Rate 5/10. Buy on sale only if you're looking for a simple & family-friendly archery game. [/b] [i]p.s. It seems to only support right-handed play. I couldn't get the bow to spawn on my right-hand. I guess you can switch controllers, but that wouldn't really work on Oculus.[/i]

It is interesting

The kids love it. The graphics are pretty, the wolf is cute, and it's getting harder and harder, but the wwolf with the cannon is threatening. It's great for the price.

Celou dobu stojíte na dřevěné věžičce a nepohybujete se po mapě. Hýbete jen se svým lukem, taháte šípy z toulce a natahujete tětivu luku, nic víc. Úkolem je se vypořádat s nepřáteli v podobě běsnících vlků, abyste ochránili domky místní vesničky, I sebe. Zatímco nepřítel zůstává po celou dobu hry stejný, tak někteří vlci mají svá brnění a jiní děla, která zvyšují obtížnost. Budete je muset rychle a přesně sestřelit a také určit prioritu cíle, abyste se dostali přes všechny vlny. Střílet můžete také nafukovací balónky, které doplňují život vám nebo domům. Můžete také střílet na létající netopýry nebo “neutrální” balónky pro zisk bonusových bodů a mincí. Na vyšší úroveň jsem se dostal až po asi hodině hry. K tomu je nutná fyzická výdrž, ano I já jsem byl překvapen, protože vaše ruka bude unavená z toho, že bude natahovat luk sic imaginární a neustále mířit na své cíle. Hru hodnotím jako prostý průměr. Neexistuje zde nic navíc jako v jiných lukostřeleckých hrách ve VR. Jestli si chcete zahrát na Legolase tak existují lepší varianty než tahle. Asi ani nejsem úplně cílovka, doporučil bych to mladším hráčům, rodinám s dětma pro grafiku podobné klasickým kresleným pohádkám z televize.

It is a game where you can enjoy VR games lightly. The screen of fairy tales and simple but exciting background music are also very good.
